Awesome thread. D'you know what, after I've finished ****ing about with all of this 'Mother's Day' bollocks, I think I'll sit down and watch Holyfield - Tyson 2 - build up and everything. Strange choice but I'm nuts like that.
De La Hoya - Mosley II - (Definetly a robbery) Abraham - Miranda II - (Abraham is a brute, 7/10) Cotto - Corley - (High intensity, entertaining, occasionally brutal fight. Premature stoppage, 7/10).
Yesterday I watched some Ricky Burns... Freitas Vs Jones,Alicea, Pearson, Casamayor and Barrios...good good.
Marquez-Juarez- Great performance by JMM, his combinations were brilliant. The fight was spoiled by the cut and RJ showed balls to fight through it.
Cotto - Pinto - (Entertaining enough, Cotto smashed him. 7/10). Cotto - Torres - (Brilliant, both guys hurt, high intensity, 8/10).
John Conteh - Len Hutchins: Nice little war, Hutchins was cut in the 1st round and went all out, came off second best. Nice finish from Conteh 7/10 Tony Sibson - Don Lee: Great fight, the hard hitting american was only supposed to be a warm up for Sibson but he fought very well, knockdowns on both sides, great punch to finish from Lee 8/10
Watched a few fights yesterday. Tyson-Alonzo Ratliff. Ratliff tried to run but it was only a matter of time before Mike caught up with him. Kirkland-Vera. Kirkland just beat Vera up for 8 rounds.
