There may be a misunderstanding. That is supposed to say no KD-not sure why that emotion is there Your post read that it was a comeback KO by Benn.I thought you were suggesting that Benn was KD by Logan-which he was.I was joking saying that Benn was not knocked down, when he was actually countered with a perfect right cross(I think:huh)and everybody apart from the ref saw it.Perhaps it was because Benn pretty much swung himself off his feet with his own punch Sorry for the confusion
Ah, sorry mate. I meant Benn was looking in a lot of trouble until he pulled out the big punch, I thought you were saying Benn didn't KO him!! No worries!!
Yeah an awful lot of unanswered punches.I don't like the term lucky punch, but that may well have been one
thats a great fight i love the ending. lads give me some suggesion to watch tonight say afew fighters and ill dig some out. but im definitly watching Arguello vs Mancini tonight
Marathon Session Tonight. Juanma vs Olivier Lontchi Chambers - Dimentrenko SRL v Thomas Hearns Lewis vs McCall Dempsey v Willard Dempsey v Brennan II Rubin Carter v Joey Giardello (shocking) P.S. I scored that last fight 148 - 137 to Carter.
mccallum vs toney 1 very interesting fight, mike mcc was underated, ducked and IMHO the best light middle of all time (although no arguements if hearns is ahead) never really got to face the best of his era i actually had the bodysnatcher winning against JT in their first fight, toney started slow and mike mcc was ahead he was countering him all night with that great left hook and wobbled toney at times, mccallum did fade and understandably as he was 36 and toney took over the last couple of rounds but i thought it was to late, very close though, but mccallum more than held his own against one of the slickest fighters of his generation people might just highlight his awesome body punching, but we forget how much of a technician he was, very good set up, short combos, could fight backwards...didn't do those things as good as he could body punch though, amazing how little he got hit when going to the body.
s&C the first one was a great fight but i like the 2nd one better. I had toney winning the first by 2. and mccallum winning the second by 1. Toney easily won the third however but McCallum waas 40
Watched Tyson-Holyfield I last night, not a great fight but a stunning display by Holy and confirmed (IMHO) Tyson as a mentally flawed fighter. Pintor-Zarate later tonight!!!!
had a great day Harada vs Jofre 1 Tiger vs Giardello 3 Tiger vs Griffith 2 (quite boring) Sanchez vs Cosme Charles vs Norkus Duran vs Moore Duran vs Barkley Basilio vs Ortega ( agreat fight) Grifith vs ortega (a 16 fight griffith fought very well) Marciano vs savold Frazier vs Quarry
I love watching Duran-Moore and Duran-Barkley both beautiful displays of a boxer judging distance and just doing enough to avoid punches while still being in position to land his own.
