Should we all start doing that?

Muhammad Ali vs Ken Norton 1,2, and 3
Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao I and 2
    Winky Wright vs Jermain Taylor
Marco Antonio Barrera vs Eric Morales 2
Juan Manuel Marquez vs Marco Antonio Barrera (If you score the legit K/D)

For real, nearly all the complaining was by DLH and Arum, and HBO.

They took a ringside poll of the media and less than a third scored the fight for De La Hoya.

It was a close fight that could've gone either way, if you took a poll here I bet the opinions would be fairly evenly split, but on boxing message boards a fight like that always translates to "one of the worst robberies ever".

    Yeah.

I forgot, Mike McCallum-James Toney 2. I had McCallum winning 114-113. That must make it one of the worst robberies ever. I also had Marquez beating Pacquiao in the rematch 114-113. Another awful robbery.

But the all-time worst is Lewis-Mercer. I had it even. What a robbery that was!

Nah, I get pretty worked up whenever people complain about the decision because it was not a bad decision. It was a very close fight, I happen to score for Shane Mosley by two points, as did most of the ringside experts.

I've got an old The Ring magazine laying around somewhere with a list of about thirty analysts who scored the fight, about twenty of the thirty scored for Mosley, from one to five points (a little wide, but still).:bbb

I think De La Hoya-Sturm was the worst, more recent De La Hoya decision, but I don't think it was that bad, considering I ended up with a draw on my card anyway.

Patterson-Ellis, IMO, was a bad decision, because honestly, I can't see how someone could score that for Jimmy Ellis. Ellis was not effectively landing accurately, he outworked Patterson for a period in the middle rounds, but otherwise landed less significant punches.

Graham-Giardello to this day is considered a bad call.

I think Bernard Hopkins edged Taylor in their first fight, but they gave it to Taylor.

I actually had WINKY WRIGHT winning over Taylor, but that ended up being a draw. Close fight, though.

Leonard-Hearts II was WRONG. Leonard lost that night.

Hagler-Leonard is probably going to be mentioned, too, though I have no problem with the decision, Hagler fought the wrong kind of fight and lost a close one.

Most people think Wright deserved this win over Vargas - I didn't score that, so I don't know, I though Wright did better over the course of the fight, though.

HERE'S an obscure fight - Montell Griffin's loss to RICO HOYE!!! On Shobox, Griffin outboxed the man, deserved his victory, only to hear one of the most ridiculous decisions I've ever heard. The fight was not even close!

    Chavez-Whitaker ... De La Hoya-Whitaker ... Chavez-Randall II ...

Roy Jone Jr vs Park Si-Hun at the 1988 Olympics. I highly doubt there is a decision worse than this.
