In the second fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. vs Roger Mayweather I heard a pretty silly excuse. After Roger quit on his stool in the 11th, he later said he was cramping up due to eating too much licorice. Nothing having to do with the brutal body shots he took, it was the licorice that TKO'd him in the 11th.
i don't know about the worst but right now, someone refused to fight next year because he claimed to have lost 15 pounds while in prison. silly excuse not to fight next year.
