In absolute STUNNED DISBELIEF. This was the biggest exposure I have ever seen in the history of me watching fights. :shock::shock::shock::shock::shock: Makes me wonder if there was something in Margarito's gloves in the Cotto fight. Seriously wondering now.
exposure? I think everyone knew Margarito was one dimensional but he was such a tough SOB. If someone can make it 12 rounds with him they would have a great shot of winning on points. he comes forward with no defense. His best attributes is workrate/chin/toughness. I didnt think Mosley had enough to slow down Margarito but he did. This just shows Mosley is one tough sob that outlasted margarito
Yeah, I wouldn't call it an exposure either. It's not as if Cotto wasn't landing at will throughout the course of his fight with Margarito. The difference is that Margarito's chin didn't hold up as well this time around. Don't get me wrong, it was a GREAT win, but nothing was exposed.
I've gotta say I am not that surprised with the way the fight went. Surprised with the KO maybe but i guess Shane has always had a shitload of power. I saw this outcome as although not the most likely outcome, definately a possibility. Worse exposures imo were Darchinyan vs Mijares and Caballero vs Molitor
The end of margarito as we knew him. Reduced to gatekeeper. Probably thought he's walk all over shane mosley and underestimated. So much for THAT HYPE JOB
Margarito's lack of skills has always been evident. So him getting schooled by a slick veteran like Shane isn't exactly exposing Margarito. What was exposed was the fact that he's a cheating scumbag though
Another second rate fighter over hyped to the max. Made a punching bag out of himself in front of millions. I doubt he'll come back from this and if he rematches cotto.......look for cotto to know his ass out this time.
This was NOT an exposure. The flaws that showed up tonight have been well documented. If you were surprised tonight, you simply have not been watching.
