Threads like this tend to annoy me. Exposed??? So, now he has been knocked out he has a poor chin or something??? Listen, Margarito is one tough dude and he took some serious leather tonight. But lets focus on what's important - Mosley producing one of the best performances of his career.
This is why ESB is a ****ing joke to mainstream boxing. After every fight 20 ****ers make threads just like this. Nobody ever gets credit for a win... it's always someone was exposed/overhyped/glass-jawed/etc. Margarito is one tough mother****er.. and he still is. Even after what was it, round 7 which Margarito had won.. you thought there was a "chance" that Mosley would wear down.. but he didn't. Mosley had a superhuman performance today.. and Margarito got outworked.. Margarito STILL has a world-class chin.. the number of shots flush and HARD that he took is AMAZING.
Exposure? Explain how... two guys fought, one lost... does that mean every fight was an exposure? That stupid word takes away the value of every fighter to ever win a fight Go to bed!
Another example of why styles make fights. I thought margo would win but I gave Mosley a decent shot. I can admit the ko surprised the **** out of me though.
Margarito showed champions heart and courage, he exposed only the fact that he has achieved an incredible amount on pure heart and chin.
He wasnt exposed!!!!! jesus!!!...he got beat by a guy with a superior game plan, power and speed!!! PS I agree still still knocks cotto out but quicker next time!!! & im a believer that Mosley won the cotto fight by 1 round!!!
Honestly, this wasn't the worst exposure. It was just one of those great wins to expose fighters that think all they need his heart, chin, size & power!
I have to agree, Margo got exposed. And I'm a huge fan. Mosley was the perfect matchup for him, even better than Williams. And because of that fact, all of Margo's weaknesses were raised to the surface. Is Margo still a tough, outstanding fighter? Yes Was he exposed tonight? Yes Just like Pavlik was exposed by Hopkins. The flaws Margo has were always there, just nobody could make them as obvious as someone with Shane's gifts could.
With all due respect, Cotto beat Mosley by two or three rounds. Even though they landed same number of punches, only a blind man could not see who landed harder blows. This coming from someone who has seen Cotto-Mosley at least fifty times. First post!!! Yeah baby!!!! WAR Miguel Cotto!!!! Bring on Mosley, Margo, Wlad, Vitali, Calzaghe....haha
The problem was that after the Cotto demolition, Marg had become the yardstick in the WW div. Almost every argument here on ESB have all his fans pointing to that win and that no one can beat him. He was emblazoned as a superhuman. That's where he was exposed. He's human afterall...
All a matter of opinion! Cotto did too much running in that fight IMO, although he walked shane onto some shots Mosley was just out husstling him! I scored it 1 round to Mosley, if i scored 10-10 rounds which I usually dont it could have swung either way!!! welcome by the way! :happy
