There's 1 thing both gbp and arum got something in common....

They got 2 very very very very boring Cuban top fighters in rigo and lara. Both of these Cuban fighters is what hurting boxing because of their incredibly boring style. They both need to take alittle more risk which mean like land punches with better shots that can make fans not boo you all the time. Mayweather is not an exciting fighter but the different between mayweather and those 2 Cubans is 2 things, 1 mayweather been way more better very good fights then 2 Cubans combine and mayweather have a way better personality then those 2 Cubans. This is why Cubans fighters wont be mega ppv stars cause they got basically both lara/rigo no personality and their style are more boring then mayweather. It's a fact. Gamboa right now basically the only Cuban that is exciting but I don't know what the hell is he doing.

 

If he is boring KTFO or STFU

Turning into an estrogen sponge once counters land, doesn't help make fights fun

 

If you don't think both lara/rigo boring then you are a dumb a$$. Both top rank and gbp really not trying hard to put their Cuban fighters in their with big money very known stars except rigo facing donaire but arum didn't want to make that fight at first and after it was made and rigo easily won, arum was mad at rigo boring performance. Gbp is like the same with lara. You don't see them even talking about putting lara to face the likes of mayweather, canelo, cotto because of his boring style and he doesn't bring the money.

 

Their opponents didn't do much to help either.

At least Donaire- in round 10 of his fight against Rigo went for broke, and Angulo did too against Lara until both of them couldn't see.

Trout and Agbeko had no plan B.

 

KTFO or STFU

If u want lame 50/50 fights, watch crackhead fights or the other primitive stuff

 

Agbeko didn't want to get KTFO, survival is instinctive

It will take a inhumanely fearless type of fighter to force Rigo to fight an exciting fight. Something like Ali Raymi, but with more skills :bbb

 

Trout was stunned few times and lars knock him down but lara refuse to go for the kill. Rigo just didn't take a chance. Both rigo/lara like I said in my thread they will never ever be mega ppv stars because of their styles which is why you don't hear both gbp/top rank talk about them facing star fighters.

 

hurting boxing? if anything, boxers like Rigo make it shine. he has a skill set not many can claim.

it's the casual fans who just want to see blood and turn around to leave because a certain type of skillfull boxer puts on clinics that is what is hurting boxings integrity, imo. boxing is a sport of many styles, some aren't as pleasing to watch, but have a little respect ffs.

 

I don't think boxing is the right sport for you.

I don't agree with this nonsense at all. why are they boring ? is it because they are so much better than their opponents ? oh ya that's their fault, maybe they should be docked points.. say they have to win a round in dominate fashion for them to get the 10 points.. or maybe they should have to have their feet tied so many feet or inches apart so they cant move accordingly.

I find it completely waked that all of the very best fighters in the fight game are blasted as being boring.. so they are boring because they can implement their game plan perfectly while hitting opponents and not getting hit..

thats the name of the game. what i find boring is having a pretty good fighter with good speed and enough power to get certain "exciting" (due to lacking skills) fighters to shell up. ala paq vs rios, clottey and marg. for top ranks top fighter to be so carefully matched that he is literally hitting a heavy bag for 12 rounds, that my friend is what is utterlyand painfully boring to me.

what i never could or would find boring is watching the very best of the best systematically ruining a fighters chances from round 1 till whenever it ends. i love watching the smart and very skilled fighters..

i dont need to see one throw caution to the wind and going all out just to try for a KO while giving their opponent their only chance for the win. knock downs and KO's dont excite me a 100th as much as watching the sweet science at its very best
