Floyd and Pacquiao are the last two standing. I hope fight gets made. I get tired of clueless trolls saying Floyd ducked inferior fighters, or that Manny is a cheater. The division is cleaned out. It's time!!!

I can give you a stylistic breakdown of why Margo, Cotto, or Clottey is less of a threat to Mayweather than Mosley if you would like.

He also wasn't himself after getting his ass kicked, being off for a year, ad being drained.

Ok, I think we had some miscommunication. So you're comparing the Mosley Manny fought, to the Cotto Manny fought. I see now. I really don't see the point in making that sort of argument in regards to our disscusion. You say Manny fights the best and Floyd doesn't. How does the Cotto and Margo that Manny fought compare to the Mosley that Mayweather fought? That's a much better and sensible argument. How does the Clottey that Manny fought compare to Ortiz? What about the Marquez that Manny is going to fight to the one that Floyd fought?

So? How is he any different than Ortiz? You talk about how small Manny is, but he and Mayweather are about the same size. Ortiz an Clottey are about the same size. Ortiz is more talented, Clottey has a better chin.

I wouldn't bet on it. Would any of those 3 have shot at beating Mayweather? I wouldn't bet on that either.

Though I cringe at the thought of given Cintron any sort of credit, he was a formidable opponent that Margarito handled twice with ease. And Cotto's WW resume really speaks for itself (Quintana, Judah, Mosley, Clottey.) To say he lost the first time he faced someone with skill is a void in boxing knowledge.

I wouldn't bet on those 3 having a shot against Mayweather, nor would I bet on anyone Floyd fought in his entire career having a shot against Manny. It goes both ways.
(I'm writing from my phone and its too annoying to break the post up and reply under the relevant points from a phone, so I'm just replying as a whole, sorry)

While I would be interested to hear your breakdown on why the 3 guys we were talking about are less of a threat to Floyd than Mosley was, I'm not sure how that's relevant being as though I was referring to them being more of a danger to Pacquiao than the three common opponents he had with Mayweather. And I'm not sure I'm gonna agree with you there, because I think all three would have out up a better fight than Shane did....they all sure did a better job against Manny.

    Comparisons.
The Margo and Cotto that Manny beat were much better comparatively than the Shane that Floyd beat. Particularly Cotto.
The Marquez that Manny is going to fight is faded, the one Floyd beat wasn't at his natural weight. I'll call that a draw.
The Clottey that Manny beat would have given Floyd or Manny a tougher fight than Ortiz. Ortiz has better (abit sloppy) offense, while Clottey has much better defense chin and heart.
Floyd clearly beat the better version of Oscar, no doubt about that.
Manny beat the better version of Hatton, natural weight, looked pretty good under Sr.

All this is BS, its not about ducking on either side, its all about ego, money and risk/reward.

-Pac stayed at WW because that is where the money is at.

-Arum hates PBF and Golden boy and vice versa

-Arum is known to protect his fighters and hold off big fights for mega-events. (he did not want Cotto to fight PBF to protect his cash cow and wanted Juanma and Gamboa to hold off for a mega fight down the road . . . we saw what happened there).

there is less risk and more reward for Pac to fight an extremely weight drained Oscar and the same for PBF to angle for Oscar than fight ******* margocheato.

both sides are use to getting what they want and since they couldn't get everything the fight fell apart. However, I think PBF gave up almost everything outside of the blood testing and pacs side gave every excuse in the book not to make that happen, it kinda reminded me of SSM toothache excuse.

As a huge fan of both guys, and i sorta dont want this fight to happen, i kinda lean toward Arum being the main problem.
