They truly gave everything they had left in this last fight of the trilogy. I don't know how Marquez was still standing in round 12 and how Vazquez got the energy to finish the fight like that. It was amazing. Marquez is 33 years old and I don't think he will be the same after this, I'm very worried about his future. Vazquez will be affected greatly as well, but I think he has more left in the tank and he also belongs at 122 more than Marquez does. They both took huge punches and although Israel took more, I think he was more mentally and physically prepared to take them. It was painful watching that last round again. Marquez was getting hammered and had nothing left, but just kept taking those punches because he was willing to go through hell to survive. If a fourth fight happened I think Vazquez would stop him in less than 6 rounds. The good news is that 122 isn't a strong division and even a very past-prime Marquez would be able to beat everyone there. Hopefully he has something left in the tank after this and he could make good money before retiring against guys like PDL or Molitor. I would be worried about Vasquez if he decided to move to 126. He absorbs a lot of punishment with his style and he's not a young man either. Guerrero would be a good fight that he would most likely win, but he would take a lot of big punches before winning. I really hope they both retire in the next couple of years though, I would hate to see them fighting when they're shot, damaging their health more. So about the fourth fight idea, no way. They both wanted to give fans something they would remember forever and they accomplished that and more.
