So yesterday you had the situation where Eddie Hearn lamented the fact that so many fights went the distance. You didn't have to be an expert to foresee a lot of the fights going long:

    - Yafai-Ishida between two undefeated Superflys was always likely to go distance

    - I predicted the Taylor fight going long because she lacks KO power clearly from her pro fights so far

    - I thought Whyte would stop Helenius but we all know Whyte is feather fisted so it was always likely

    - Buglioni-Richards Tbf I thought Frank would have stopped Richards since he is a SMW

Anyway we then had the farcical situation where Cordina was boxing in live time but the idiots at Sky decided to instead show a highlight reel of Joshua KOs to appease the casuals. Just watched Cordina's IFL interview and he was explaining how he was rushed out there with no proper warm up, no ring walk or anything and it hampered his performance.

Dave Allen missed his slot earlier because the Buatsi fight went long and although he twinged his back late and couldn't have boxed after Joshua he said on IFL that he had to warm up and down seven times during the show because he didn't know whether he would get a slot. Poor guy had his hands wrapped for about six hours. I believe he did get his fight purse anyway but very poorly managed show.

Surely now we need to see an end to Hearn "stacking" PPV cards (where the home fighters are 1/100 certainties in most of the fights anyway)? It's a poor way to justify a PPV in any event. I think Hearn needs to rationalise his stable. Just give us one or two fights on a Facebook freeview before the PPV and then just four QUALITY fights on the actual show.

Yesterday's PPV was a complete joke and the best fight was Taylor's quality scrap against Sanchez. I would say I feel sorry for people who forked out for the PPV but I don't because boxing fans should know better than to pay for that.

My only problem with these “stacked cards” is please show all the fights advertised.

We missed cordina fight because they wanted to promote AJ, fair enough but please manage your time properly.

I don’t normally mind paying for PPV but to miss fights out is a bit of mickey really.

I didn't catch any of last nights card as I was at a wedding, catching up on some of the fights today and I am bored stiff.

Sounds like it was an awful PPV.

The worst Sky have done since Haye-Harrison. Don't think it's the worst Eddie has given us because Clev-Bellew was worse as a main event. Joshua-Takam was at least interesting until the referee decided to seek attention.

Watch the Taylor fight, was a really great scrap.

Cheers, will do. Always wanted to see Taylor tested.

I think Hearn needs to up his game for the Haye/Bellew PPV in December, PPV's of this calibre are unacceptable.

Card was absolute trash I would have put chisora European title fight on the card and swapped it with the yafai fight and have that on the Monaco bill who even are wanted to see that fight so it would have been

    Aj Vs takam

    Cordina with him being Welsh

    Whyte Vs helenius

    Katie Taylor

    Chisora Euro title fight

Dave allen instead of buglioni trash fight

Much better card still not worth paying for

I don't really have a problem with the stacked cards as long as the stacked cards are stacked with boxers that are a. Decent to watch and b. Their established in that we kind of care if they win or lose.

Last nights card was the opposite...its poor when the woman's fight was the fight of the night again tho in the grand scheme of things do we really care that much who wins it. I watch a lot of boxing but Kai yafai, Katie Taylor, Dave Allen, buglioni...and the rest of them are a far cry from groves. degale. Eubank junior who we had on match room at one point. Even bellew/cleverly. We kind of know them well enough to care for the outcome. Even the lower tier...burns, crolla, Mitchell when he was fighting are still a lot more relevant that what was on offer last night.

Whyte was the only one outside Joshua and his fight turned out to be disappointing to say the least. The norwergian actually hurt him in the second or third then stopped fighting from that point on.

Just a poor show all round with the Joshua fight a disappointing ending. The fight for me showed if anything that Joshua's hyperbole is ridiculous.

I still say looking at that card...barring Joshua. None of them deserve to be on ppv. Allen definitely not. Whyte after last night not. Buglioni not. Yai kafai again no. I d struggle to watch any of them on normal sky TV. Including Katie Taylor. Who was in a great fight last night tbf but it was still a woman's fight at the end of the day...doesn't really appeal to me tbh.

You should need to earn the right to be on these shows...not just a I need to get this guy out on a show soon...I know I all stick him on the ppv undercard.

Buglioni could of been in a good fight against was it burton or the other one. Instead claimed because Burton done him no favors in the past...he wasn't going to fight him but instead opt for a guy that had no chance. Come on...people are paying good money to see it. Eddie can surely put a bit extra buglionis way from the millions made last night and put on a decent fight at least.

It's going the way of a Klitschko undercard back in the day- not much of note bar the main fight.

I'd like to see at least one genuine 50/50 well built scrap on these PPV cards- a lot of the time they just seem to be slung together ad hoc.

£10 with the bookies on all the home fighters would of returned you a hefty £15!

You have to feel for Dave Allen- he was really screwed over having to warm up and down 7 times and not getting to fight.

With AJ PPV cards the undercards are largely irrelevant anyway. It's all about the casuals- and the referee could not even get that right by stopping the fight too early. The casuals only watch to see AJ knock his opponent out.
