Things are going get tough for Klitschko's

  1. Vitaly will KO Gomez inside of 6 rounds, Arreola :patsch **** him Vitaly will send him to the ER, oNly Valuev will give Vitaly a tough fight from size alone, and even then i see Vitali winning a wide decision over the 330lb giant...

Who has Haye beaten worth a **** at Heavyweight to challenge Wlad:huh Wlad would blast that loudmouth Cocksucker out inside of 7, 1 sided rounds..
Povekian is a solid fighter but not ready for Wlad:-( Wlad would win a decision over him.. Or stop him late..

I think Povetkin needs another 2 fights against Top 15 guys having won those then id rate him a genuine threat to Wlad. nothing more than a threat i would to go out and say Povetkin will beat him. Wlad TKO10

Dimintrenko has more pro experience on paper than Povetkin but I think hes less of a threat than Povetkin. Dimintrenko isnt complete junk, amd i wouldnt call a fight between him and Wlad a disgrace but I just think Wald has far to much skill, power, and experience at the highest level. Wlad TKO8

David Haye, still cant comment on him at heavyweight until after his Barrett fight. I think he has the potential to cause Wlad some headaches but something tells me Wlads seen it all before if Haye had the chin of Holyfield when moving up to heavyweight id have confidence in him. But he has a chin that is suspect! Wlad KO6

    In regards to Vitalis opponents

Juan Carlos gomex is a tremendous fighter who hasnt acheived half as much as he could have had he been dedicated to the sport. Of all the guys listed as the Klitsc opponents Gomex IMO proves to be the toughest. He's slick and skillful. Vitali would have his work cut out of a fit, dedicated Gomez turned up. Vitali MD12

Nikolai Valuev is just to big IMO it works against the smller guys under 6'5 but a guy liek Vitali although he would still be shorter starts to negate Valuevs strength....SIZE! Valuev is tough i cant recall him being hurt? but against a guy similar in height and with Vitalis ability he gets outboxed. Vitali UD12

Chris Arreola for all his power and agression is just to raw yet, maybe after another 3/4 good fights against Top 20 guys he can prove himself a threat. But hed be going into a fight with Vitali with only a punchers chance! Vitali TKO10

I can't believe how some people are unable to learn. Wlad was going to lose the rematch against Brewster, because Brew is oh so tough, Austin was going to trouble Wlad with his size, Iggy was going to hurt him with his southpaw stance and power, all this was posted here.

Vitali was going to be beaten by Williams if the fight went past five rounds because of his stamina problems, Peter was going to KO Vitali for sure....

Why is this stupid routine repeating itself after every dominant Klitschko performance? Wlad will use his size, reach, jab and right hand to methodically tear up Povetkin. Dimitrenko was on the verge of being KO'ed by an ancient Hoffman. Gomez is huge talent but also a cocaine using party animal. I would not favor any ATG without discipline against Vitali. Haye has yet to prove that he can beat guys that dwarf him and that his power means anything at the elite HW level. Remember how Peter was regarded as a KO machine until he faced elite HW's??

Vitali will beat all of those and Vlad will beat all of those. Povetkin might get seriously hurt. Gomez did not so well in sparring with Klitschkos years ago and now that Gomez has wasted his life, he will only run his mouth. Vitali will knock him out.

When I saw the title, I thought 'bull****'. But yeah those lineups look less than easy for both.

    Good for boxing though.

Three more victories for each of them, and all will be KOs. I look forward to watching them :good

Well that rule would eliminate mr. Vitali from title picture seeming that he was busted for steroids in his amateur days.

Also Gomez was busted for having cocaine in his blood so it really didn’t have anything to do with trying to cheat.

Well, If Povetkin is smart he will just swarm Wlad instead of doing what these other jokes are doing and trying to outbox him. Problem is if you get inside the guy holds like no other.

Povetkin should do to Wlad what Brewster did to Golota.

I am not sure. If Vitali is going to stick around he needs to remain active. None of this fighting once a year stuff. I would love for him to fight Valuev in early 2009 which is what Gomez is claiming that Vitali has asked for an optional before the Mandatory to fight Valuev. It will be interesting to see what the WBC does....

go to fight news and on the front page here. Gomez said he heard Vitali is already trying to line up a fight with Valuev and is trying to "avoid" him. He is just trying to hype up his fight. Unifying another belt before fighting him is not "avoiding" him.

I really think if the WBC allows we will see Vitali vs Valuev. There would be too much money involved for them to not let it happen. :good

If Wladimir beats Povetkin then you might want to replace Dimitrenko with Haye, think Wladimir will go for him first instead.

Vitali's next fight should be the WBA champion(Golota, Valuev or Austin), doubt he will show any interest in fighting Gomez first.

I disagree with your contention that these guys will prove to be threats to the Klitschkos. For now, there are no obvious threats on the horizon to Klitschko dominance.

Of all the guys you list above, the only remotely possibly upsets I see are Povetkin and Haye beating Vlad. There's a remote chance that could happen because Povetkin might out-tough Vlad, and Haye might prove to be too fast for him.

Even so, Povetkin is too easy to hit, and Haye has serious durability problems. These flaws could prove fatal for Povetkin and Haye against a savvy, rangey powerpuncher like Vlad.

As for the rest of the guys on this list, Valuev and Dmitrienko lack the talent and power to threaten either Klitschko. Gomez is an aging, overblown cruiser who probably cannot hang in there with truly excellent heavies like the brothers. Arreola is a wide open, face first slugger who is tailor made for the Klitschkos.

Until Odlanier Solis matures, we probably won't see any heavyweight who stands a chance against the Klitschkos.
