Ask Tony Tubbs about Vitali's right hand and that was in sparring years ago in Germany.

Well, Wlad is 1-0 vs. Rhaman. Lewis is 1-1. And by the way, Briggs did have his moments in the Lewis fight.

More than likely it will be a measured beat down over the course of 8-10 rounds. However, Shannon does not have the strongest chin and I would not be surprised if he got starched quick.

I hope Vitali bears down on Briggs and shows the power we know he has......brutal power that some seem to forget about.

Kirk Johnson folded when Vitali had him in the corner and was committing to putting all his force into his shots. I hope Vitali softens him up with alot of moving and boxing, then starts to bear down on his shots and put his entire body behind them.

I think the armpunching is seen as an almost certain way to win, with little risk involved, given his size advantage over everyone. Maybe he'll put his force into the shots he lands on Briggs, after he's softened him up, a bit.

 Vitali has a lot more than a jab. Briggs will get a one sided ass kicking and be stopped

:good:good:goodCorrie Sanders could also punch, baby, and he landed flush on Vitali a few times and Vitali wobbled a little but that was it (and yes, I know some say he was knocked down, but it was a ruled a slip).

:huhIt's amazing that anyone could question VK's chin after he's fought in the HW division all these years and never been knocked down officially, much less out. That is the mentality of a pure, biased hater.:-( Any man who could keep on coming forward after getting nailed flush by a vicious Lennox Lewis uppercut has got a great chin. :yep:yep:yep

Briggs becomes nothing but a bum the minute he signs to fight a Klitschko, of course. The haters used to wait until after the fight to call the opponents bums, but that's when they figured someone might beat a K-Bro. Now, they figure no one can beat them, so they skip directly to calling the opposition bums before the fight.

I think with Briggs he has no choice but to be more aggressive, and he will be. Vitali does what needs to be done and always has more than one game plan for each fight.

Garbage post. Iggy just tried to survive, just like Akinwande did against Lewis. Was Lewis able to turn the Akinwande fight into an exciting one?

Mavrovic or McCall weren't any better than Ibragimov, one beat Lewis, the other gave him a competitive fight. Iggy was the only fight for Wlad in five years where he looked bad, but certainly never in danger of losing. I take Iggy over Henry Cooper, who almost knocked out Ali, any day. If you refer to the worst fight of any great champion in a five year period, many greats look worse than Wlad.

unlike other posters here, I think Vitali will KO Briggs. I know Vitali normaly wears the opposition down these days. Just a feeling I have and have to go with it. I don't think this fight goes past 5!

Peace. Just my thoughts on this fight!
