    He's becoming the definition of all flash and no substance. Can't wait to see him in with a comparably-sized, capable puncher. Not even a killer like Matthysse, just someone who can make him defend himself instead of throwing punches and shaking his head the whole time.

    U know:lol::lol:

    Calzaghe fought and beat the best in 3 weight classes. He beat 3 ATGS.......He's the Ali of SMW/LHW.

    And at 41, he could come out of retirement and still lick every single LHW titlists.

    EEEEEEAAAARRRLLLLYYYY:deal:deal

    Call it what you want, it was Khan's only KO, and it was not even a proper KO, that was my point.

    You talk about Khan knocking people out when he has never actually knocked anyone out. Ever.

    Hey dude, the 60's called and they want their racism back. Ask all Broner's haters how they feel about Ward, Floyd, Hopkins, Quillin, Trout, Bradley, etc. Boxing isn't really the type of sport people gravitate toward if they dislike black people (or Latinos).

    I dislike young, privileged, outspoken, unproven, and mildly ******ed. Khan, Broner, and Dirrell are the only ones who really qualify. It's fine to be a prospect who's never fought anybody, it's fine to be outspoken about how you'd destroy everyone, it's even fine to have a powerful manger/promoter (I love Thurman and he fit this description), but don't be a ****ing dumbass and don't try to become famous by blatantly copying everything your favorite fighter does, especially if he's still active. I don't like Broner because I don't like being lied to. I don't like when corporations try to force substandard products on us, and I don't like when networks try to force fighters on us and bestow a personality on them that doesn't fit. The personality is what really puts it over the edge. When Berto and Ortiz were in similar situations, I could sit back and say "Ah well they're good kids, not their fault they're getting built up even though they aren't all that. They'll lose sooner or later and that'll be that."

    I really dislike Broner so much, the way he talks and in most ways he conducts himself. I find very little of what he does funny. I am a huge fan of the Mayweathers and most of my favorite fighters are black, that has not one thing to do with it. The truth is I just think Broner is a *****. Thats my opinion, nothing else. The whole package is corny from his entrances to this hair brushing crap. He is not a gentleman in anyway, and he sums up what is wrong in boxing from being protected and just being an idiot.

    That's a cogent and well thought out argument. Sadly, your insidious and undercover racism is showing. You clearly hate Broner because he's black, everyone hates everyone because they are black. Even if you're white, people will hate you because you're black.

    Like I said, he personifies the worst of urban "cultural matters", it's very sad, and uncalled for.

    Great post.

    I think Broner is trying to be the villain so that people will tune into his fights in the hopes of seeing him lose, just like Mayweather did earlier in his career. I think it's all a marketing ploy, but the thing is, I don't think that many boxing fans care for a complete lack of sportsmanship like Broner engaged in after the fight. Totally classless, and I'm not falling for his marketing ploy. I could care less about watching any of his fights, win or lose. He has a very boring style anyway.

    I've been a boxing fan since the 80's but I'm cancelling Showtime over this and the generally poor fights that Golden Boy puts on. It's a shame that there are a few talented fighters with Golden Boy, but I'm tired of watching mostly fighters with limited skill and no desire to win or take chances being showcased so heavily as in the fights leading up to last night's main event. I don't want to financially support the poor quality that they've been putting out.

    I guess overall, with the limited skill level of fighters today and with the classlessness that seems to be so accepted by the networks, I think I'm just losing interest in boxing overall. I don't like where boxing is now and I don't like where it is apparently heading.

    Broner's race is meaningless.

    I despise people who are overtly materialistic, narcissistic and self-centred regardless of their race, gender, age.

    He's got the character of a mollusc's arse.

    Broner lacks the aggression needed to win with real fighters. Mattahysse, provodnikov, Maidanna, Brook, and maybe even Khan would all hurt him. He has a lot of skill but he does not use it enough.
