Cotto has no way to beat Mayweather. Alvarez v.s. Mayweather is more interesting than this fight IMO.

 

Im looking forward to this match up and fair play to both fighters.
Both take on tough comp and both deserve full credit. 2 of my current favourite fighters

It's not pointless. It's a good fight and it's at 154, which makes it more exciting knowing Cotto will be comfortable physically and Mayweather having to move up again. I would have loved a fight with Martinez but not surprised it's not happening.

 

won't Floyd-Canelo be more appropriate in 2013? I like that fight a lot, but May was too early. Win win for everyone...except the old Jewish guy

I like both fighters but give Cotto credit for never ducking anyone at his weight
At WW Cotto fought Margarito, Mosely & Pacquiao who were all considered threats at the time,
Mayweather providing its not a catch weight deserves his props to for going up for this fight.

I really cant see what bugs people so much, this is a great match up
