Liston tok two dives. I think if he took two dives agianst the Klitchko's, they would come out as winers, although some on here would say "Liston won if you watch the fight..." :yep

Froeman was a wrecking ball for 2 or 3 rounds, he also fell apart agianst Jimmy Young. Does Jimmy Young go down as all time great? How about Peralta, who had Foreman falling all over just by sticking around?

Lyle was good contedner, but he gets beat by any champ in history, same for Ellis and Bonavena. Quarry was best of bunch, but fell apart in some big fights, agaisnt and Frazier he lost it, just fought like amateur. I will say that at his best Ali still beats him, Frazier he has chance against. But the rest--what is so ubeatable about Ellis? Bonavena?

frazier had a very low KO% on 215 lbs+ opponents.
And it was RJJ vs Ali at lhw... the 168 was a small mistake as I meant 175, and Ali fought in the olympics at 175.

And you need to stop watching highlight videos of Ali.

Q: "How would Ali do today, with the huge Klitschko brothers?"

Angelo Dundee: "He would’ve stopped both of them. See, Ali looked great against big guys – Cleveland Williams I’ll give you as an example, a huge guy. Another guy, most people haven’t seen the fight, a guy named Duke Sabedong from early in Muhammad’s career. He was like 6'6". Ali's speed would have overcome both Klitschko brothers."

Cleveland Williams was crippled and he didn't KO Duke, who was a pretty big bum.

Oh sure Angelo, if Ali won against Duke Sabedong (by decision), then the Klitschko brothers would be stopped.

lol, Paterson would clean out the division? Johansson and Joey Maxim? is this some kinda joke?
These 3 would be destroyed by any top 20 fighter inside 4 rounds today.
They are light heavyweights with no chins.

He may frustrate and stop a tired Wlad late on, but he wouldn't spark him

Though I think Wlad might be a stylistic nightmare for Ali

Everybody going against Ali in this thread is moronic.

I already made a thread which point out the #1 mistake Ali haters seem to make is that they always use the lesser version of the 70's Ali as a pro type in any h2h match up.

Ali build a huge legacy in the 70's due to his more famous fights, but the true version of Ali was the 60's.
The shocking reflexes, the speed, and the combinations were at it's most lethal during the Liston to 67 run. I want to use a fight example real quick.

In the fights against Frazier, Joe's greatest moments always came because of his relentless pressure and insane work rate that enabled him to push Ali back against the ropes and often times trapped in corners where Frazier could do massive damage with his hooks and body attacks. A 60's Ali was better conditioned, much faster, had frightening reflexes and athleticism. With all due respect to Frazier( a True ATG) Ali would have dominated him on the outside with a variety of jabs, hooks and combinations. His attributes of the 60's would have been too much for Frazier to even have a 'greatest trilogy of all times' scenario. Everything that he did wrong in the 70's fight against Joe, the 60's version would have not made those mistakes based on speed and reflexes alone, not to mention a higher work rate that won't have see him take the minutes off which enabled Frazier to get his pressure in.

The diminished Ali of the 70's as compare to the 60's version is actually quite shocking to see for those who watched all the Ali fights.

Wladimir have a real chance against a 70's Ali, he have very little chance against a 60's version.

Probably end up losing a 10-2 or 12-3 (15 round) contest.

English is clearly your second language. As it is the other clown who struggled with reading basic English earlier on here :patsch
One more time for you two who are a little slow in the understanding stakes >>>

Now point out where it says: Patterson would clean out the division?

Highlight the text that says or even implies that
