Do you actually think Pac is going to back Floyd up all night long?

At times, he'll certainly push Floyd onto the ropes but not for every second of every round.

Floyd isn't going to stand and trade with Pacquiao but he's not just a defensive fighter either.

I don't love watching his fights but you cannot dismiss his offence.

Watch Mayweather's fights - look at how he responds to a decent attack or individual shot. He unloads, picks some great angles and fires off some great shots of his own.

Floyd doesn't help himself (in terms of the judges) because he often lets the other fighter throw more punches and attack on the front foot but he doesn't take many and when he does throw, they usually count.

Manny is going to have to be more selective with what he throws. This fight isn't simply about volume or roughing or power, it's about technical boxing and waiting for the opening to exploit.

Pac will blitz him bc Floyd doesnt move his feet. He walks back and forth in straight lines, and locks his feet in place whenever he gets attacked. He's got that flat footed, jame toney - type defense and it's all wrong against Pacquiao. It's lateral movement that gives Pac problems, and countering aggressively with combinations which Floyd doesn't do either. He only throws one at a time, if at all.

Ok lets say Pac does Blitz Floyd, what if its not successful then what? Is he going to box Floyd?

I also look at it this way.. lets say they do fight in May.. Pacquiao was booed' and shoulda lost officially to Marquez, Pac has to take the OSDT testing, then on top of that Floyd will talk **** and make fun of him. Mentally its leaning towards Floyds side.

I always say that's why Floyd barely throws shots in the ring, because he breaks you down outside of the ring lol.

Sure manny can box floyd, it's not like he's gonna just walk in and start swinging wildly . He'll feel Floyd out a bit but once he starts opening up Floyd is gonna get blasted believe me. He's gonna get caught with something. Pacquiao will be targeting that rib cage all night too . Both guys will have their moments tho . The pre-fight **** isnt gonna mean anything.

  5. Floyd doesnt really have the power to KO opponents in 3

    Pac can do that tho,

Manny can't truly "box" his way out of a paper hat. Athleticism only gets you so far.

  7. Pac doesnt go on the ropes often, but Floyd goes to the ropes all the time

  8. i dont think anything Floyd says will have an effect on Manny, Manny thinks the more they talk the better so he can shut them up inside the ring

    Yep, you are right.

Although he did do 'Vicious' Vicky in 4.

Please spare me the whole 'he wasn't defending himself' crap.

It's a huge fight. Floyd ain't going to KO Manny in 3, I don't think any sane individual on the planet would claim that. BUT, don't put up such stupid analysis again. It just makes you look a little silly.

    But he wasn't defending himself

  11. yes Pac will back up Floyd, why do you think his past opponents dont want to stand toe to toe with him? theres a reason why they keep moving back,

Floyd doesnt have a killer offence to keep Pac away from him, Pac will probably blitz him

    He should have been.

He didn't defend himself and he paid the price.

    Knockout all the same.

Sure, just as he blitzed Marquez.

Did he beat JMM in your opinion?

It's funny because i'd much prefer Pac to win the fight and I genuinely think he has a good chance of doing so BUT I can't stand all the one-dimensional analysis and bull**** being thrown around.

It's not a case of Manny walking Floyd down and him not being able to deal with his power. That is some stupid-ass **** right there.

I guarantee at one point in the fight, Mayweather is gonna hit Pacquiao with a straight right or jab and Pac is gonna do that stupid "smacking gloves together" move he does when he gets hit and Floyd is gonna take advantage and wallop him again. :deal
