Unlike you, my logic is not dictated solely by money. If Ottke could have got x million dollars for fighting Jones in the USA, which is the same amount as he could have got for fighting Robin Reid in Germany, then why do you agree that he was best served to stay in Germany and fight Reid?? Don't glory, greatness and legacy mean anything to you? Sure, Ottke obviously agreed with you because he never did leave to chase Jones, but that doesn't mean all others had the same mentality. The name Clinton Woods springs to mind... British balls!
Pryor desperately tried to get a fight with Ray Leonard, but due to various circumstances such as fight schedules and Ray's tight demands, it never materialized. And if Hagler would've made as much money fighting Spinks as he did for fighting Leonard, then Hagler most definitely would've fought Spinks.
