Aside a very shot Vargas, tell me how many fights ago and how many fighters ago has it been since Mosley cracked a chin?

Cotto absorbing Mosley's overhand right doesn't say much. Mosley landing his overhand right almost at will spells trouble for Cotto against Mayweather.

Mosley's right hand has more power than Floyds does.

And why assume that Mosely landing his right hand on Cotto translates into trouble? There are too many variables to make that connection with such confidence. First, Cotto still won the fight. Second, maybe Cotto's body shots have more effect on Mayweather than on Mosely. Third, maybe Cotto's head shots have more effect. There are many things that can happen in a fight.

Cotto's body attack would kill Mayweather. Cotto is relentless, and I don't believe Mayweather's style is one that would take Cotto out. Why do you think Mayweather doesn't want to fight him?

:good I have never seen PBF slow down or tire in the late rounds. So if Cotto can do what 39 others couldn't do then Cotto must really be special.

Cotto's body attack was nullified by Mosley how by moving in and out and giving angles mayweather is a master at it.

If Mayweather was half as confident as you are he would have already agreed to fight cotto. Since he left 135 mayweather has been known for picking fights he knows he can win. If he thought it was this easy for him to beat the number one contender you all know they would be fighting, BUT THEY'RE NOT.

All you mayweather fans know that if the unthinkable happened and Gomez beat cotto, Gomez's next fight would be against Mayweather. Floyd isn't as dumb as half of you, he realizes that Cotto is a legitmate threat to that ZERO in his L column and thats why HE DOESN'T WANT TO FIGHT COTTO. Forget all the talk about why he would and could...****IN FIGHT! PROVE IT!

I hope you are not implying that hatton is anywhere near the fighter that cotto is especially at 147. if you are there is another thread here where about 55 people will give you the facts. Yes people said the same about hatton, but he isn't the fighter cotto is, not nearly the body punhcer, or have the technique and boxing skill cotto has. Most importantly Hatton is not near a top ten WW if he stayed there full time, while cotto is best fit there and Cotto is by far a more powerful puncher.

That being saids, all the reasons given for mayweathers victory are the same that have been mentioned whenever he fights anyone. Cotto is the toughest challenge mayweather has encountered, and that exactly why mayweather is going to fight DHL 66 more times... so that he never has to fight cotto.

you dont know what you are talking about do you?

mosley HELD cotto's left hand everytime cotto came in close so he couldn't land the left hook, mosley was so worried about cotto left hook that he got hit with everyother punch.

btw, mosley didn't move in and out, he doesn't fight like that, mosley is more of a pressure fighter/skilled brawler.

Exactly - Shane clinched when Cotto got in close so the ref had to break them up and Shane got to reset from mid-range. When he didn't hold Cotto's left hand, he was hit with hard body shots.
