The argument isn't whether your decedents did the damage, the argument is that damage was done.

And because that damage was done the black community is largely living in urban decay and adopting ghetto culture.

I largely feel bad for the black community, I mean can you imagine the reality of growing up in a **** area and having very little prospects of making it out and becoming middle class ?

Thank you, my people are doing fine too. It's all about choices. The people I know have pride in being hardworking, and educated individuals.

What's funny is that this so called "Thug-culture" gets mixed up with urban culture. I know plenty of intelligent, "hood" dressing people(of all colors), who own their homes and what hard for what they want.

I'm ok with someone having a problem with people whom **** and pillage, but the "Broner" type does not have a monopoly on that. My neighborhood is sprinkled with good tax paying s.e.x. offenders whom dress nothing like Broner. Who should I hate...? lol

I may catch **** for this but the truth is the truth I'm 47 my pops got up everyday to work sometimes even catching the bus he never made excuses about things being unfair.I've done a little better and my children are benefiting from it and hopefully there children will do better. Well, the media is there to sensationalize everything. Writing a story about a black father sitting down every day with his son doing homework, giving an allowance, and teaching him morals and values is boring. Meanwhile, some black dude just shot a guy in a restaurant, now that's news! The people I know don't think like this. My people value education, and DON'T WANT HANDOUTS! We are business owners, educators, and we work hard. We were taught manners, etc.

We sometimes speak "hood" or use colloquial terms, and we sometimes dress "hood" or urban. There is a difference between "urban" culture and "thug" culture. I see nothing wrong with the former. But, then again, I don't worry about what "Whitey", or anyone else for that matter, thinks of me.
