Exactly and what dd Jones do to Malinga? Idiots that post this "glass jaw" nonsense are just typical message board, know nothing haters.

You don't beat three hall of famers having a glass chin. Most fighters in their careers fight one maybe two and don't come out on top.

Some dumbass here also mentioned Jones didn't have a plan b. Please STFU. As already mentioned, you can look at the Merqui Sosa fght and see that Jones wasn't some 'pot shotter' as another idiot alleges. But I understand being informed doesn't help your ridiculous point. Here let me help the idiots see this.

Prior to that point Merqui Sosa had NEVER been knocked down. Went to distance with James Toney, Michael Nunn and Frankie Liles. Beat a 1 loss pre journeyman Glenn Johnson. The dude was no sloutch and Jones answered his aggression, absorbed big shots from Merqui (so much for the glass jaw theory) and disposed him.

To the point about the shots that Johnson and Tarver landed would have knocked anyone else out. Tarver has been lauded by Bernard Hopkins himself as saying he's a big puncher. Lets ask Eric Harding, Montell Griffn and Roy Jones can Tarver punch.

That shot that Tarver landed would of knocked most down, and Jones did manage to get up, its not like he was out cold, also, it could argued that banging his head hard on the canvas is one of the reasons why he was out for 4 mins against Johnson, that said, the hook that Tarver rocked him with in their 3rd fight did not look like a significant shot to me, but it had him on ***** street, also, i dont think you can make a case for Jones taking good shots against HW's, or LHW's, ive seen most of Jones fights and i dont think ive ever seen him hit with what i would call a really!! hard shot and shake it off, only Del Valle really caught him solidly, but that was when he was in his 30's.

I honestly dont know what to make of it, i dont know whether he had a shaky chin or not, however its worth pointing out that Chris Byrd got knocked out when he came back down from HW, so it would be stupid to say it does not happen, that dropping weight quickly does not effect you.

He also got up after Green hit him in the back of the head so to say he had a weak chin is bull crap !!

What is idiotic is people making assertions they cannot prove. "That punch woulda KOd anybody" is one of the most ridiculous of these, usually offered by fanboys of some glass jawed fighter to try to deny the obvious poor punch resistance of their heroes.

"That punch would have KOed anybody" is the most pitiful excuse there is and it is thrown around on here very recklessly all the time just because their favorite fighter was brutally and embarrassingly KOed.

There are some people on here that simply refuse to accept that Glass Jaws exist in Boxing. :deal

Exactly, these nuthuggers are blinded :patsch

This is despite all the evidence e.g. countless expert threads and debates. There's even a video which proves beyond any doubt that Glass Jaws exist.
