Just had a quick read up. From what I've seen is that he said he was advised to lie about the purse by the McGuigans. Neither side will come out of this smelling of roses but just seems that the McGuigans have some ropey financial history with a few fighters, Frampton, Conrad Cummings, Josh Taylor.....
I read that Carl noticed after the Quigg fight that all the McGuigans including their wives and girlfriends were paying all their expenses through cyclone promotions ie Carl’s purses. 1. imagine how furious you would be 2.
