This McGuigan- Kinehan thing

He was a very popular fighter, if the crowd pay then he deserves his share whatever the amount, I very much doubt mcguigan was over paying him. Your of the same dumb opinion as mcguigan “ he was paid more than anyone else in the division, I was proud of that” lol
He doesn’t realise that it was framptons appeal to fans that made him his money, not mcguigan, it’s a red flag for me an everyone else, kind of like so what if he wasn’t paid what he was owed, it’s still better than what everyone else is getting... Mcguigan is a snide spiteful bullying wanker

Just reading the court proceedings and it seems Barry was trying to hide 850k from Frampton from the Santa Cruz fight , Barry was questioned and it was put he kept it quiet and hoped He could keep it from Frampton.

Barry answered “ we told him we had recieved our part of the payment and he had already received his purse “

Frampton got $1 million for the fight and Barry was getting $850k ??? Wtf!!! And Barry the sneaky ******* didn’t tell Frampton the figure just “ we had recieved are fed for the fight “

Hard to have an opinion without looking at everything but that right there looks dodgy as hell!

 

the thing is, was franptin happy with his million? If yes, the Mcguigan’s did nothing wrong.

like we always say about boxers, if your happy with your purse, don’t worry about the other guys.

Don’t get me wrong, the amount seems a lot, but that would have been divided out amongst all the cyclone staff, managers, promoter, trainer fees etc again that looks bad as it’s all money going towards the Mcguigan’s, but it’s a family business and they all will have their roles to earn their pay. If it was matchroom etc the same amount of people will have needed to be paid, they would be seen as staff members not as Mcguigan’s so doesn’t look as bad.

 

yes I think your rite it’s the nature of any business , I think on a whole Frampton would probably not have earnt and probably not achieved what he did under Cyclone with anyone else. The partnership benefited both parties

 

Reading all the stuff in the news I dont think frampton comes out of it very well, just seems to be trying to throw loads of mud hoping some of it sticks.
He wouldn’t be where he is without Barry and has forgotten that

 

cyclone wouldn’t be where they were without Frampton. They seemed to forget that.
