Note: Canelo's punchstats are second only to Mr.Mayweather, beating guys like Ward (3), Wlad, etc etc. Mayweather was able to take this kid's completely offence away and completely embarrass him during the fight. No it doesn't Angulo was a punching bag basically as good as Rios who all you *****s were saying that Pac beating him was nothing. Can't have it both ways Rios was **** and so was Angulo.
i agree... i was so suprised canelo toyed with angulo the way he did.. the same guy who gave lara a VERY TOUGH FIGHT (and this is the same lara people say would beat mayweather) .. sorry guys but 2.2 million ppv buys thought canelo would legitimately be the one to beat mayweather and we were wrong.. now we see after tonight that we wernt blinded by hatred for mayweather to think canelo could be the one... if you watched canelo v angulo and the mayweather fight had yet to have happend you guys would be crawling on this forum saying mayweather should fight him..

I was just talking to my brother about how good Canelo actually looked in the Mayweather fight. From a technical stand point, he looked spot on. His punches were short and crisp, and clearly did his best and trained his hardest Floyd just took all that and made it look like nothing... Had people saying Canelo was no better victory than Rios (which, no matter how much of a Pacfan u may be, it just flat out wrong) but still... The fact that he made it even a debatable argument says a lot after tonight.
Lara was outweighed by 12 lbs and the ring was small as hell. Just stop. Canelo looked just like he always does. looked good at times and took rounds off to conserve his poor stamina. Floyd looked good against a slower flat footed weight drained canelo and canelo looked just as good against an even slower more flat footed fighter. i hope this gives canelo the confidence to fight lara at the end of the year.

No it doesn't, it shows what every boxing fan with a brain knows - styles make fights. Canelo is a great fighter and Floyd is a great fighter, Floyd's paper beats Canelo's rock. I'd pick Angulo to do a lot better against Floyd than he just did against Canelo.
