So where is Loma supposed to hit him when he spent half the fight down there sucking on one of Lomas dix?

I'm just pointing out the double standards, Rigo was dirty for sure, so was Loma. I'm a fan of both fighters, but some posters are making out Rigo was the only culprit in the fight when it was coming to being a dirty fighter. Both were equally dirty, one was given more leverage to be dirty than the other. It never would have effected the outcome of the fight much, but that's what I saw.

I thought all you guys who picked Rigo promised not to bring up the weight if he got beat. Loma beats Rigo at any weight at any time in their careers. This was one of Lomas easiest fights. He didn't get out of 1st gear. He never got to the stage of increasing the velocity of his punches the variety the power and the workrate like he usually does. Rigo pulled out to spite my prediction of quitting in the 9th. Lots of you said their skill level was equal but you need to get to spec savers if you think there is any one close to Lomas skill. There is no one around who can put a virus into this boxing computer so just kick back relax and enjoy the next few years of the most skillful fighter ever and be lucky enough to say you lived through it. Loma is the best boxer in the world and has been since FM.

I agree rigo showed up to get paid it's the reason why I wasn't that excited for the fight. Rigo knew he has no chance. Lomas win against Russell jr is more impressive and Russell jr was prime.

Loma did show some good stuff in outboxing the boxer, but it's simply hard to give him any credit at all when Rigo put forth so little effort then quit. And of course he beat a smaller, older man, so the fight wasn't going to mean much even if Rigo brought a much greater challenge tonight. The fight means nothing. I can't believe I accepted it as a legit matchup. Let's move on to the next one, hope Loma's back in the ring in March.

Percieved "effort" cannot be used to argue against an opponent's demonstrated superiority.

By any standard of the sport, Loma was better and outclassed Rigo. Those are the facts. You are arguing "why he was outclassed"

I disagree it was an issue of effort. Loma merely broke down Rigo's defense while denying him the counter opportunties he normally thrives off.

Why is a Rigo a disgrace, he is the 4th straight opponent Loma forced to retire in this way? Hes not an outliner. We are not in the ring getting hit in the face by Loma, but 4 professional athletes in a roll have.

Haha. It's just friendly debate. Do well all have to hold hands and agree? Wouldn't that be boring?

STFU, I am not a fan of both. But idiots like you consider people who were not impressed bythe fight as fans of Rigo.
