Obviously a huge disapointment missing the Macklin fight but two ok level championship fights go towards making a good bill. What is the rest of the undercard and what fights may we get to see? I like the look of the Thompson vs Amar fight.
Jesus :-( Whoever is in charge of boxing at Sky needs to be sacked immediately. They would be better using the slot to come up with a marketing programme showcasing the best talent we have..... highlights, interviews, features and a studio panel.

Totally agree. None of these fighters should be fighting in a tv main event. Hate the way fighters drop belts, like Small with his Commonwealth, so other lesser fighters from stable can fight for titles in main event slots. Friday night is our only boxing showcase now. Punters will watch this in boozers and come to the wrong conclusion that boxing in the UK is ****.

Not really..... Thompson has looked pretty impressive when I've seen him, whilst Amar is very average. Not sure why Gary Woolcombe is fighting for a title either.... last time I saw him he was being picked up off the canvas after Rhodes chinned him.

I like Mark Thompson. Good fighter. Only seen Amar fight once and was impressed. Think he may be all wrong for Thompson but hope I'm wrong. Good fight imo and both lads would beat Matt Hatton an he's fighting for the Europeanatschatsch The McDonagh-Woolcombe fight is **** poor tbh.
