Cintron has more power, but he also has less technical ability to put his punches together. I don't think I saw that many head to body or body to head combinations.

Also Cintron hits WEAK to the body. What's the number one way to slow down a fighters work rate? You guessed it.

What's Cotto's specialty? You guessed it again.

Barring the punchers chance. I see this fight as a tough fight, but no brainer. Much like DLH and Floyd.

I think Margo has a punchers chance, but I pick Cotto by UD :bbb

I think Marg has the tools and physical advantages that will be a different look that Cotto won't be able to overcome. I also think Cotto's confidence level is extremely high and will try to "FIGHT" with Antonio which isn't in his best interest.

Cotto is a good boxer and he may have a little more skill than Marg but I think Many feel Antonio dosen't really have boxing skills which is a complete myth. Antonio can definitely Box, he just chooses to bang with his opponent.

Cotto will be the one who is getting pressured and that is something he is not use to. Cotto know how to deal with counter punchers and that's to apply pressure...the guy he is fighting is all about pressure himself and I feel he will do more effective pressure fighting give the height, reach and Chin advantages he has over Cotto.

When Cotto gets pop and it wakes up the beast in him I feel he'll try to "toe the line" with Marg and that will be a HUGE mistake. Cotto will have to box 12 full rounds to win on points...I don't see him KOing Marg in any round but he could outbox him to an extent. The reach of Marg and the pressure of Marg will slowly take it's toll on Cotto and ultimately he'll resort to going tit for tat with the more aggressive and relentless fighter.

But I do see one hell of a learning experince even in defeat for Cotto.

Im not an AM fan cause I think "no one can beat him" . . . or "no one deserves a fight with him" . . .Im an AM fan cause the dude is a hard nosed, hard working fighter who overcomes his limitation through work and will and will fight anyone.

I think Cotto is a slight favorite IMO but AM has more than a punchers chance.

I give cotto alot of credit but I really dont see him getting past margorito. Completely agree with Ambition_Def....but the thing is margo has tasted real unreletenless power (the type that doesnt stop Cintron Williams) but I dont think cotto has. The question is , whats cotto gonna do when Margorito is still walking forwad after taking cotto's best punches

I like Cotto in this, but I am worried about Margaritos uppercut, his best punch and one Cotto is the most susceptible to.

Best bet is for Cotto to "BOX" and stay on the outside. Cotto is a great inside fighter but Marg has more advatages and that uppercut is a dangerous tool Cotto will have to look out for.

Let me start out by saying, I am a fan of Cotto's and I really dont care too much for Margo (tho I respect him as a fighter). But anyone who tells you Margo stands no chance or doesnt worry are Cotto fans whom are absolutely, positively either blind or lying to themselves.

Cotto has never fought ANYONE like Margo. He throws in unbelievable amounts. Has power in both hands. Has a ****in granite chin. And is relentless. Only fighter Cotto has seen even close to him is Ricardo Torres...and tho I fully admit that Cotto has matured and grown immensely since that fight...noone will argue that Margo is at least ten times the fighter Torres is. And we all remember how tough a fight Torres was for Cotto.

And to the people pointing out the Williams fight as to why Margo stands no chance....your insane. Styles made that fight and Cotto fights NOTHING like Williams. Williams won on length, speed and output (output meshed with incredible speed that is)....Cotto is more of a fighter who comes at you and keeps the fight in close (where his tremendous body work is unmatched by anyone fighting today)...but does this not play into Margo's strengths as well?

I see three possible outcomes in this fight. Cotto taking a close decision, as he is clearly the better boxer...Cotto getting knocked out...or Cotto losing a close decision (where he won more rounds but was dropped a few times). And in all honesty, I see the latter two as the more predictable options.

Would I be surprised by a Cotto win? Not at all....but lets just say I would be less surpised if he lost.

I will be rooting for Margarito. He is a champion with a champions heart.

Cotto will be tested and will possibly lose by UD or KO. But I give Cotto a slight edge due to youth, polishness, and shorter punches.

Two of my favorite fighters. If I had to pick a winner, I would lean some towards Cotto. But would NOT count Margarito out.
