But he actually has been getting hit and to my knowledge this is the 2nd fight he tried to utilize the shoulder roll (1st being Guerrerro). I thionk he is influenced more by Broner than Floyd honestly
He's the only fighter I've seen do the shoulder roll without the roll haha but it sucks that he hurt his shoulder when the counter right was landing everytime
The commercials for their star-crossed rematch stand as some of the funniest **** in boxing television history. "I was undefeated!" "I defeated you!" ...sounding like ****ing Hans & Frans from SNL...or cheesy 80's pro wrestlers (the ones with the least acting talent...) Complete ****ing knuckleheads, both of them. In and out of the ring.
Berto can't pull the trigger anymore. I noticed it in the Guerrero fight. Props to Hunter for beefing up Berto's legs..those things used to be PITIFUL...It's like he had polio or some shi.t.. Berto lacks the one thing that can't be tought and it applies to ALL sports: He lacks AWARENESS.
the body breaking down would be a red flag had he been in his laste 30's. body would break down to that degree as young as he is now unless he abused these things from the time he was 12
I was thinking the same thing about him maybe being on the roids again. However another way to tear muscle is to not be properly hydrated, causing the muscle stiffness to be much more susceptible to a tear or injury. Seeing how he looked at the weigh in, could be that he never got enough fluid back in his body by fight time.
Yeah I hear that. But it also depends on the amount of stress he put his body through all those years as well. I read a few years ago, his father would make punsih him by making him do 500 push ups before he could keave his room ... this before he was a teenager if I remember correctly. Thats harsh for a youngster in my opinion
Yeah they are still small, but now that I think about it, they are a little more solid than before. Thats probaly part of the reason he cant take a punch
steroids eventually destroy the joints as muscles become so strong that they actually stretch ligaments and tendons. every roid user has had this problem.
