he's a pretty good boxer with power, he isn't the huge KO guy they seem to hype him to be but i'm sure his skills will help him time those big shots and get people out of there. isn't it actually impressive that he doesn't need to "one time" these guys to dominate them?
Thurman might get some more KO's if he learns to really target the body. He's not a headhunter, but against a true tough guy with skills, you often need to SET UP the body to get the stoppage. Hurt them to the body and that'll limit their workrate, speed, and ring movement. Then he can tee off on them. Even if he doesn't drop them, the ref will jump in more often than not. Look at how Inoue took out Narvaez like he was nothing...that's a tough, skilled, veteran fighter who wasn't even stopped by Donaire way back when he was a wrecking machine. You don't stop guys like that by clubbing them over the head. Remember, Guerrero is pretty much unstoppable but the bell did save him...
