Yeah, Holmes is quite like Holy in that way. Not exceptionally talented like Ali or Tyson, but well schooled with very good all around skills and, most of all, terrific determination and will to win. The main difference is probably that Holmes had an ATG tool in his jab, while Holy didn't have anything that stuck out as much.
Yep. They were actually at their most dangerous when hurt. That's a rare quality, especially for fighters that don't have a devastating punch. Holmes stopping Weaver is what a true champion is all about.
