    Back in 96 and 97, he threw a ton of punches against Izon and Ike. Then after that, his workrate considerably went down.

    Tim Witherspoon was such a well schooled fighter ...he had a great trainer in Slim Jim Robinson. ... I would have to believe they would have a strategy to nullify Tua’s left hook ....Witherspoon UD

    Can’t help but think Tua eventually gets him out of there ala Oquendo. Someone said Tua would go into a shell...he didn’t against Ike and Rahman and others who hit harder then Timmy can’t imagine he would. Lewis is another animal altogether. Tough fight to call both two of the best contenders to ever strap em on

    He participated in two of the highest punch volume fights ever, but usually did not throw so much & followed you around looking to land the big punches.
    Vs. Ike set a record for HWs only fairly recently broken.
