No problem you expanded on your answer and were polite so I appreciate that.

I agree with you in regards to Fury/Bowe I think they're quite similar in regards to their careers and are ranked quite similar in the all time rankings.

In regards to Lewis/Fury I can understand what you're saying but I can't say I agree because Fury overall has fought far less notable opponents, for example Fury has fought 4 ranked opponents where as Lewis fought 13. So Lewis for me has shown he's more consistent against more notable opponents overall. Plus he doesn't have the issues Fury does outside the ring in regards to his mental health and weight issues.

But what I will give you is that in regards to Fury's big fights he has normally put in a good performance even in his losses to Usyk. So you could say Fury has been fairly consistent in regards to his big fights atleast performance wise.

If Fury is actually training every day as he says, even light training, he must eat an ungodly amount of trash food to maintain that fatness.

I estimate he compromised his career performance by about 20% due to his fatness.

Imagine how hard he'd be to deal with if he was the same weight as Wlad. I remember Booth saying he was surprised how fast Wlad was in the ring with Haye. Fury looked to be a bit quicker than Wlad even carrying extra weight.

People will say Usyk always beats him, maybe so, but since the fights were competitive, it's possible a lean Fury could have won one of these fights since he'd be able to match Usyk's intensity more and be even harder to hit. Carrying nearly 30lbs extra over 12 rounds is no joke. Fury clearly doesn't have the discipline to do it himself but lots of athletes are like that. With a different training team he could have been a leaner fighter.

But he used to be 245bs and pretty lean at one point. Yes he'll never be ripped like a Bruno or an AJ but he could clearly be in better shape. It's literally his job to work out and stay in shape. But he drinks too much, parties too much, no doubt likes his food too much. So to say it's genetics is a cop out to some degree.
