Yes, the pressure is on Floyd now. Only Paul Williams, winner of Berto-Mosley seem to be acceptable opponents at this stage. Now, that the Pac fight fell for whatever reason through does not change the fact that Floyd needs to fight an elite opponent.

Now we can still expect Floyd Mayweather Jr to claim the #1 p4p status as his team succesfully put somehow enormous doubts to boxing fans that Pac is on roids.
Now that Pacquiao is out, which to some would quickly think a huge fight for him to claim that top status in this sport, my question is why does he have to fight Matthew Hatton as his next opponent?

Do we all still have to see a continues cherry picking for Floyd?
Why can't he fight a legit WWs next to also erase doubts that he and his team just tried to manipulate outrageous ideas to duck Pac?

Cintron is hungry for a fight. Bradley would love a shot at Mayweather as well. I don't believe Hatton is an option at this point as I doubt Mayweather goes to England unless the $ is ridiculous. I don't believe anyone, England, or anywhere, feel that Matty has any sort of chance. That will hurt attendance and PPV numbers.

It was obvious from the start that Matthew Hatton is who he wanted to fight.

Uncle Jeff Mayweather said it, it was on fighthype, Steve Kim.

This was all BS to try to get out of the fight. He's ducking a lightweight. Schaefer got PWNED.

“The fact is, I’m not a drug-testing expert,” Schaefer said. “I know many media members don’t know the difference between urine and blood testing, either. The last few days, I really educated myself on this topic. It doesn’t make me an expert, but I know the difference now between blood and urine testing. Some substances are detected more readily in urine and others are more readily discovered in the blood. Now that I have this knowledge I have gained, I believe it’s important that Shane Mosley submit to any tests requested.”

Yes, no matter how you look at it, Pac fought the better opposition overall. Cotto already trumps the guys PBF fought at WW:D
