Too bad for boxing as a sport. Pac looked like the real deal but this no random testing posture by him certainly looks bad, casting a big doubt on everything he has achieved so far!

Without this fight with Pac, back to the WWE? Give Shane a shot?

I think he should go with the winner from Shane/Berto.

    Yep.

Doesn't look like he has other interesting choices.

Maybe Clottey or Collazo if they win a fight of 2.

You are probably correct. I don't see any indication that they want Shane/Berto, or any other top welter.

I thought Hatton was exposed previously.

that's my guess being he has been loyal to the WBC and is their #1 contender...so winner of berto/shane could basically be forced (not that you would have to force them at this point in each of their careers, mosley for one final big payday, and berto for his first monster payday) to defend

I'm one of the biggest floyd fans there are, I have all his fights on dvd...BUT if he fights matthew hatton, I'm done with him....This is ridiculous, if the pac fight doesnt go through, which would be a travesty, Then he should just wait for the winner of Berto?Mosley.. But Freakin Matt Hatton, who isnt even anywhere near a contender is the stupidest **** ive ever heard and I would have no respect for floyds choice there

With the latest news coming out that Arum says the fight just isnt going to happen and that there setting up for a Manny/Foreman fight on the 13th or maybe even the 20th, this is what I think Mayweather should do to counter. Keep in mind this is only my best hopes and this would never prolly actually happen. Floyd to prove to everyone that he was not ducking Pac, should right now call out Paul Williams and fight him on the 13th or 20th.. The MGM would immediately pick that fight over any pacquiao fight on that date and so would HBO PPV..That would immediately be the biggest fight to talk about and people wouldnt even be thinking about a Pacquiao fight with this new beauty on the table. It wouldnt do pac/mayweather numbers but I gurantee it would do like 1.5 million buys and all the attention would be back on Mayweather... People would be convinced it was Manny who didnt wanna fight since floyd arguably chose a tougher challenger for himself, and if floyd won he would undoubtedly be king again!!!

It wont happen, but that is my best case scenario in place of a Mayweather /Pacman fight!!

No way Mayweather-Williams does 1.5 million, more like 500k. I'm a big floyd fan but lets be realistic about his ppv success. It was mostly due to him fighting other superstars that already established a big following (De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez). Mayweather has never been a big ppv star by himself and Paul williams has no ppv history/exposure to the casual fan. Although I would like to see the fight happen.
