Tired of Povetkin fans and their whining, can't weight for Wilder to fight this guy.

Honestly, Povetkin is a WAY better fighter in general but I can see him losing due to styles.

Wilder can knock Povetkin out I feel if he lands something, and I can see him landing something. It'd be an interesting fight to be honest but I wouldn't be supremely confident about Povetkin's chances to be honest even though I really don't like Wilder.

Povetkin will put a serious charge into Wilders skull and completely shut off those bird legs. Please, please make this fight happen.

Too bad Wilder's team isn't as confident as you are or they would've fought already.

Povetkin has to be the clear favourite, he's been fighting at a much higher level than Wilder. But both have styles that could pose problems for the other.

Povetkin struggles with boxers especially ones as tall and rangey as Wilder. He's looked good recently against guys that just came to him and even Takam had success with he boxed early on. So it isn't inconceivable that Wilder could out box Povetkin. How Povetkin does against Wach will show us what tools Povetkin has added since the Wlad loss and give us more insight on how he'll deal with Wilder.

But Wilder has also shown flaws when pushed back and pressured. He still makes plenty of mistakes. Even fighters as poor as Molina and Duhaupas were able to take advantage of these flaws, they just didn't have the skill and power to really make it tell. Povetkin would be a very different proposition and those mistakes would cost him dearly against Povetkin.

Wilder will likely try and avoid this fight if he can, which means going for a unification fight, but with Wlad's fight being pushed back until next year that seems an unlikely route now. Chagaev holds a title which could be another option to delay a Povetkin fight, but I can't see Chagaev's team wanting it and as Chagaev just KO'ed a guy in a round that beat Duhaupas, Wilder's team may still see it as too risky for little reward. So it seems Wilder/Povetkin is next.

why would he want to rush into his biggest payday, when he could easily get beat by one of these bums? he is taking a huge chance of throwing his career high payday away.

Povetkin; currently the second best Heavyweight.

Povetkin; at worst the third best Heavyweight of the Klitschko Era.

seriouly, just going by plain logic, if a flat-footed French version of speedster Wach was able to land shots on Wilder, what will Povetkin, who is at least a couple of classes above Duphaups, be able to do?

Agree but also Wilder has an incredible reach and did demonstrate he can take some decent power shots ( I know....from a guy outside the top 20) and being a HW almost every shot landed can create a KO.

Wilder also as you said knows when to use that reach and box.
I like Wilder but homie has got to step up to some top opposition before long so we can get a fair assement of his abilities with real competition :deal:thumbsup
