Very respectable post from you, I must admit. But tito did use his jab a lot. Tito's never been the perfect fighter, but he was very fundamentally sound. Probably the best i've seen at taking a guy out when hurt. Not to mention, a great body puncher. It would be foolish to say Tito easily beats him, or that Tito winning is the only viable option here. Floyd's great enough to fight w/ virtually anyone. But I get the feeling, at 147, Tito would be the wrong guy for him.

floyd would pot shot tito all day and mayweather defense would give him trouble.

the straight right lands all night for floyd.

    tito is 1 dimensional fighter

You may have a point with that... He did however, punch well in combination. I`m just saying maybe a punchers chance... I still pick PBF. Lokk, Oscar was boxing Tito`s ears off unti late in the fight. And PBF is a better pure boxer than Oscar and much slicker defensively ...

I don't believe that. Floyd has great reflex's and defense and great at seeing every punch that is coming at him but Oscar is the better overall boxer. Both have stellar amateur backgrounds but in comparisons to Oscar, floyds comes up short. Oscar had about 100 more fights, if memory serves, with half the losses, not to mention gold medal.

Floyd would turn him inside out, Tito was too limited for someone as rounded as Floyd.

Simple 'one sided' breakdowns like this don't belong on a boxing discussion. :-(

if tito does not press the action, floyd wins on pure technic.

but if tito presses the action and punches a lot and stays aggressiv from 1 to 12 than I think he would either win on TKO in later rounds or UD over floyd.

jose was a limited fighter, a powerful slugger, but not much more and jose staying aggressiv and going for the hurt had floyd in big trouble and winning a lot rounds. prime tito was not one dimensiol and could move well and had good footwork and punch variety and was much more bigger and stronger than jose luis castillo. floyd would have felt prime titos punches, believe me on this one.

I don't see tito ever getting a UD over someone like Floyd in their prime. I do believe him, mosley and de la hoya in their primes have great chances to knock the little fuker out

Tito would be out-boxing him until Floyd landed the one big KO shot and points to the canvas, Julian Jackson style

tko/ko certainly. but like I said, if you press the action like cotto or jose did, than you can win rounds and certainly prime tito would have been able to do that to floyd. win enough rounds, by simply punching and landing more.

I will say Floyd would be shitting his pants and tito would be coming at him all night with little respect for his power. Floyd has never fought guys like Tito, sure he got a washed up Oscar and Mosley, but I don't give much credit for that and lets not forget Oscar wasn't too far out of the boxing match.

look the problem is, oscar was winning a lot of rounds, based on oscar excellent technic, but the big mistake that tito was making is that he wasnt enough pressing the action. a all time heavy hitter like tito has to go in the comfort zone of a technician, meaning he has to come in and unleash. if he does that and punches high vol than anybody infront of a prime tito has a problem. also tito was a tall strong guy, a powerful big manm size difference would have shocked floyd. if floyd was scared of margarito than watch how he looks at tito :yikes:D
