I go with Jackson on a hunch...Tito had more ability but Jackson was a banger and Tito always got hit...Jackson hard to recover from. Jackson KO4

Jackson punched harder than Tito. Tito had what 3 or 4 fights at 54? It took him 12 to finish off Vargas who had a **** chin, and Reid survived the distance with one eye. Tito was not the monster at 54 and 60 he was at 47. He became a lot more ordinary because his power was less of a factor, and his one dimensional style started to show. Jackson early Tito late. Close fight though.

I'd say that this fight would be decided on who had the better chin. That would be trinidad.

if I run this fight in my head it is hard to see Tito win it. Tito punched hard but not a sure thing to stop Jackson, which he would have had to if he wanted to prevent being knocked out. Tito did not have the best defense. I pick Jackson by 4th round ko.

    I can see why

To me that call is up there with "Down Goes Frazier" and all the other great boxing commentary nuggets.

It's a smart post. The more you know, the more nuanced your opinion becomes.
