I did not think there is anyone thinking Cotto is better than Tito, i'm sure even Cotto knows Trinidad was better!

Your whole post is completely false:patsch 20 defenses? no, Cotto never beat the top guys at 147 and 154? FALSE.

You like the guy fine, but don't be making crap up.

sigh... I guess just bc i am in a boxing forum doesn't equals people know what they are talking about.

Agreed. Shane isn't really a boxer and, at 147, you need a jab to keep Tito off balance. I can't think of too many guys who would have survived a firefight with Tito @ 147. Certainly not Shane, Cotto or any of the current crop of 147lb'ers.

You should ask who's more talented between Cotto and Vargas. Cause that's a much closer arguement than Cotto vs Tito.

I love Cotto as a fighter, but Tito is a clear level or two above him in terms of record and ability.

So much FAIL in this post that I don't know where to begin.

First of all, Oscar LOST - get over it. A championship professional prize fight is *12* rounds. Had Oscar finished the fight like he started then he would have got the W. Trinidad deserves credit for imposing his will on Oscar in the latter rounds and taking advantage of the Golden Girl's stamina issues.

Second, Trinidad had been retired for like 3 years prior to the Winky fight and was WAY out of his prime. Besides, Winky is a legit ATG fighter and a horrible style matchup for Trinidad. Wright would have had an easier time with Cotto than he did with Trinidad.

Thirdly, YOU MUST BE ****ING BLIND IF YOU THINK TRINIDAD IS THE SAME SIZE AS JONES JR AND HOPKINS. Hopkins turned pro @ 175lbs and Jones won a HW title. Stop talking out of your ASS...

What's sad is you've never seen any fights of prime Tito OR Vargas.

Cotto was more compared in talent to Vargas than to Tito. P4P.

At 154, Vargas would have beaten the Holy **** outta Cotto.

Cotto's power is not on the same continent as Tito's.
