would have loved to have seen this fight imo mosley takes this fight I dont see mosley being daft enough to stand toe to toe with tito. I think mosleys speed and combos just to much for tito. If mosley did stand toe to toe he gets knocked out just can not see it happening
I think it ends up a controversial draw. A mosley punch opens a cut over tito's right eye in the 2nd but is ruled erroneously as a headbutt by the ref. After six rounds the fight goes to the cards: One for tito 4-2, one for shane 5-1, and one 3-3. After months of failed negotiations there is no rematch just thoughts of what could have been.
just curious how c you say that shane would not trade with tito when it is something that he ALWAYS does. at some point in all of his fights, he gets drawn into a war. it is nice to fantasize about what he should do. what makes you think that all of a sudden, he will change.
in the post fight press conference the fighters are their usual classy selves. Their fathers, also their usual selves, do not reflect the same class. Both clame foul play on the other's part. Both proclaim the superiority of their son. Cedrick Kushner is taken aback by the viciousness that each attacks the other while Don King waves his flag and laughs at the fireworks. Don King, at one point, suggests the fathers fight each other on the undercard of the rematch. Only Carl King laughs at the obvious joke. At one point, Felix Trinidad removes his sunglasses and carefully puts them into the pocket of his lime green shirt. He points at Mosley and states (in Spanish) "you were strong for the first 3 rounds, but you were on your way to being knocked out". Shane just smiles and shrugs it off. There is however one person - A woman- in the crowd that is not amused by Trinidad's comments. Her and Shane meet eyes and are entranced one by the other. He has not met her yet. Her name is Jin and she wants a new set of testicles for her purse... to be continued.
That would of been a nice fight but, it will never happen.:sad2 There are some many great fighters that you say "what if they fought" or "why they didn't those two ever fight?":conf But for some reasons it nevers happens. We should appericate and respect the few true fighters who do.:bbb
hahah, i picked both of them because you made it a poll option. i ruined ur thread!! WIN!!11oneeleven11!!exclamationpoint!!!!11!1!
Tito. Only because Mosley has had problems with tall, rangy fighters. Otherwise Mosley would beat Tito under any other circumstance.
Mosley has never been a great on his toes boxer. He always comes forward and neglects his defence. Trinidad would have landed his left on him, numerous times. Tito TKO 10.
No, Tito was not a boxer in the pure sense - and he would not outbox Mosley (I see a similar outcome Mosley had with Forrest). However, boxer or not, Tito's much longer arms would give him an advantage keeping Mosley at a reasonable distance - although Tito rarely used his longer wing span to throw effective jabs. But like I said, Mosley would beat Tito under any other circumstance. Take away Tito's height, size and reach advantage and Mosley beats Tito handedly.
If Tito doesn't give up his height, this could be a 50/50 fight. But I would give Tito a slight edge.
