to all Bute fans !?

Thats all well and good, and Im not saying his defense was particularly good. When the fight was still being contested( before the middle of rd 3, it wasn't his defense that was the problem. Froch was throwing some shortarm flurries and a shot from that was rattling him. Froch didnt land anything all that big until he started teeing off on Bute. His punch resistance has long been in question. I think we know for sure now.

 

I agree that this fight went south fast for Bute at that 8:33 mark. (about 1:55 in rd3). The turning point.

 

Webbiano and Shaunster have pretty much covered it. Froch is unorthodox but he has proven effective and even versatile.

The list of opponents you highlighted for Bute look very different to people who are not rabid fans. Quite frankly the list is pedestrian and I don't see a single fight mentioned where Bute was not a least a two to one favorite. No need to go to the trouble to fix fights against that list.

I said before the fight Bute does not have great head movement.

People on here often seem to mix up fast hands with technical ability, they are NOT one and the same.

Bute was moving backwards in straight lines at times, covering up on the ropes and showed a real lack of knowledge on the inside. As well as, like I've already covered, not moving his head.

I hear Bute and I understood what I saw. And so I respectfuly disagree with you. Even Bute is not finding excuses, his coach and promoters. All these people potentialy lost M$ and dont try to make excuses or downrate Froch accomplisment. You should ask why they react like this and why you react like you do. It will help you to answer your questions.

He may have needed to lose this way ..His handlers weren't doing him any favors by always feeding him stiffs !

Can't leave your arms dangling at your waist when you have no god damned chin, was Bute's problem.

 

This is what happens when you feast on no hopers and has beens for your whole career. When you finally step up especially against an iron willed warrior like Froch you get exposed. The truth is Bute was never that good to begin with and I and others tried telling his fans that. The mere fact that his fans suggested he could beat Kessler ward or even Dawson prove that his fans that talked him up don't know how to properly evaluate boxers and simply buy into hype and should learn more about the sport before popping off.

 

i truly believe that the crowd played a huge part in this fight.

he couldnt hack being the away fighter & it was obviously playing on his mind long before he got in the ring as he was listening to crowd noises during training.

he completely froze in there, the phrase rabbit in the headlights springs to mind.

 

Been to Nottingham for the weekend and just got back and watched the fight on TV while sober haha! I actually felt really sorry for Bute and after reading his post fight comments it's clear he is a really classy guy, I've became a Bute fan today and hope he can bounce back, just not against the Cobra.

It's just clear that he doesn't take punches very well so he needs to use his skills as much as possible against any higher level opponent.

 

The obvious .........................that Froch is a much better fighter than expected...
Froch is not slow, good jabs, long long long reach and lot of angels, hooks, good movements, strong and difficult to hit clear.................Frochs a damn good fighter, warrior and a gentleman.......
