First of all this doesn't make much sense but I think I know what you mean.

You're saying that people choose mayweather because he has the odds - his is the favored man.. But you are picking AGAINST mayweather because of even WORSE REASONS. You JUST SAID that you pick against mayweather because you DONT LIKE WHO HE IS. I have never met ANYONE who is so wrapped in boxing politics as you.

You do not know mayweather but you feel you do after seeing him briefly on hbo specials or in intevriews. I would gaurantee that mayweather is probably a genuinely nice person when the curtains are down. People like you reinforce the idea that boxing is no longer a sport, but a business.

 

Please don;t take what I am about to say personal, but the fact that you qualified your answwer by bringing your family history, means that you always have that issie in the back of your mind, and try hard not to be like that..and that is very commendable...my father was like that also...many times..he beat the **** out me also..and I promise to myself that the trend stopped with me...and than k God, it has....I never laid an hand on my kids or my ex's....but it is a concious effort to do it...
