lets just all start to recognize one belt like IBF! Lets just don't give a f*ck about WBC;WBA:WBO

And i'm not even talking about IBo IBO WBF

You will see if IBF will be the belt then everybody will want to fight for it!

That's what I have always thought. Although we should pick the oldest belt not the IBF. Anyway, a good start would be to stop recognizing the Micky Mouse belts like WBU and WBO.

my point was not about oldest belt! It could even be WBF belt who gives a f**C what belt it is the moust important is to have real champion only one!

That would be funny if we would ignore all belts exept WBF and then klitschko and others will start to target that belt as they would like to prove that they are the best!:D

That's crazy. Do you have to be under 14 to win it or just look young enough? Those types of belts make boxing less credible. It's a shame.

Nobody here has mentioned any solutions!. This is the free market gone wild. We need to get the major federal governments to unite and come up with a once and for all champion for each weight class. A United Nations of championship boxing! John McCain where are you???? The most laughable part is the champions of one ABC organization are rarely recognized by the other organizations. In August, the WBA did not have Klitschko ranked! Same with the WBC or the IBF. At least the IBO ranks the other ABC beltholders. Boxing Counties unite for One True Champion for each division.

UFC as an orginization only has one champion, But MMA as a sport just like boxing has multiple orginizations. There is UFC, Pride, Elite XC and a bunch of others, all with their own champions. That last UFC event was a unification of the UFC and Pride fighting light heavyweight championship.

Lol, as if the UFC is the haven where everyone knows who the champion is?

MMA is bigger than the UFC, just like boxing is bigger than the WBO or Golden Boy Promotions. Is Randy Couture the best HW in the world, or Fedor Emelianenko? Who is the MMA Lightweight champion (and think twice about it before you say Sean Sherk)?

There aren't AS many problems in MMA, perhaps, but it aint perfect either.

I know what your point was but may as well choose to recognise the oldest belt.

Boxing is more of a true world sport. UFC is a league sport.

The Ring belt is the only one that matters, the closest to the Lineal Title.

I completely ignore the other pseudo-belts.

IMO, the wbc seems to have more name recognition and is one of the better organizations at its ranking systems.
