I'm talking about from the Gatti fight on. Only 3,900 tickets were alloted to Brits for the Hatton fight. The other 12,000 or so tickets sold out in under an hour. Hatton's 3 previous fights(all of which were in America) were nowhere close to selling out and Brits had unlimited access to tickets). Now tell me who's mainly responsible for that fight being sold out.

 

As i said "BREAK IT DOWN" i don't give a ****, don't ***** up when you get called out, speak your mind son i'm waiting, the "i'll be banned" excuse doesn't wash with me!! , if you've got something to say about the people of Africa spit it out.

I have said this be4 and will say it again. I wont claim the racist thing, but Mayweather does have a point, and if you cant see that you are being just blind. The problem with boxing fans and boxing analyst alike, (not all btw there are still some fans of purist around like me and others here on ESB) Every1 wants to see blood, or they want to see KOS KD's and if you dont produce that youa re considered boring, and 9x's out of 10 you never get the rightful credit you deserve.Most fans watched ROcky 1-5 and thought that was real boxing, so when they see a guy like Mayweather fighting it comes off as him being boring etc. I look at his career and there were many analyst who said he was suppose 2 lose to Corrales, OScar was suppsoe 2beat him, Hatton was suppose 2 beat him, and then after he beats them all, that doesnt turn into FLoyd was picked to lose this fight many analyst and fans alike and pulled it out, its always turns into floyd beat some1 who never had a chance anyway etc.

Another example of this, RJJr against John Ruiz, many analyst said that RJJr was gonna lose, that by him coming up to heavyweight it was gonna b probably his 1st L, and as soon as after he won. On the AIR MERCHANT and LAMPLEY are now saying that Jon was nothing but a paper champion and RJ was suppsoe 2 win etc. And Foreman had to say you cant do that b/c you are taking away credit from RJ. What do you call that? I mean the thing I dont get with you guys is b/c some1 has an opinion on a topic that most of you probably know nothing about, b/c none of us arent in floyd space and we dont see the politics involved in boxing. We all sit here and bash him. Whether you believe it or not FLoyd does have a point. I can even take it to another sport

Tiger Woods, I have seen and heard after Tiger wins many of his matches analysts say that I mean c'mon hes winning against a weak field. But then when a guy like Mickelson wins a major or some one else other than TIger wins, they get all the praise in the world and no1 brings up the weak field arguement. Explain that one 2 me as well.

This doesnt make sense my friend because how can you prove that the other 12,000 tickets were sold to people who went to see PBF and not Brits? There's no way you can right? I mean considering the fact that probably 70%-80% of those 12,000 were sold to Ticket Brokers Agencies like TicketMasters and **** like that. How do you know that most of those tickets werent sold to Brits who paid more than the average price just to see Hatton fight? Just because 3900 tickets were allocated to Brits doesnt mean that ONLY 3900 Brits went to see the fight that night...

Now I got a question for you, how many people do you know that would paid at least $1000 to see PBF fight anyone???? Not many right.... Or how many people would actually cross the Atlantic Ocean to attend one his fights?

PBF couldnt sell-out his high school gym without a good dancing partner and thats the TRUTH!!!!! So for him to go a rant about HBO announcers the way he did, its simply childish and disrepectful considering the fact that HBO and Arum made him who he is TODAY. Plus they made him all that money too. And on top of that they literally SUCKED his dick for years while he fought on BAD.

 

I can't prove who those other 12,000 tickets went to, but it's a good bet that a good majority of those tickets were sold to Americans. Considering that only a few thousand showed up to Hatton's previous fights in America, it's a good bet that many of those Americans came to see Mayweather.

This is a pointless question. I don't know many people that would pay at least $1,000 to see anyone fight. That doesn't mean that those people don't exist. Furthermore, many of the tickets originally sold were under $1,000.

I highly doubt that. Fact of the matter is, every fight he's had from the Gatti fight on sold about 10k tickets or more. Pacquiao's last fight had under 9k tickets sold.

Number 1, Floyd is where he is today because of his talent, hard work, success, and controversial personality. If HBO and Arum could simply make anyone star, they would. Number 2, I never made one mention as to Floyd's comments in regards to the HBO crew.
