I wasn't trying to prove Manny's innocence with this thread; I simply wanted to discredit guys like Paulie who cling to the weight jumping as evidence of Pacquiao's PED use. Honestly, I'm a fan of Pacquiao and I'd like to imagine he's innocent but I simply do not know. None of us do and I'll leave it at that.

I also think PEDs are being greatly overstated. SSM admitted he was using PEDs for the second DLH fight and he looked like **** in that one.

I'm not for pacquiao in this matter. Infact I'm pretty much against him and the way his idiot camp has handled this hole senario. As a person I also think he's a complete phony (as most people that get into politics are in my opinion) and a complete premadona. I will however say that this is a very good point regarding his apparent "wieght gain". And should be acknowledged and addressed by any poster that is trying to say he is on PEDs.

No I don't think that its a matter of what weight how many divisions he's moved up, the concern is more that he has apparently hasn't lost anything in doing so and is still able to stand and trade with the larger fighters as he did at the lower weights. People who suspect that he's doping would point out that Floyd and mosely and others that have moved up have seemed to lose things as they move up. Like physical strength relative to there opponnets, speed, Punch resistance etc...To what validity they are speaking I don't know. I know that another decent explanation that he's not drying out as much as he used too...

I said the exact similar statement on the other thread. All the fighters who have been caught juicing had been coming off poor performances. I listed Mosley & Vargas as good examples.

    hmm says . . .

weight jumping is an unprecedented thing (some are successful than others) but he managed to go further because he started at a lower weight and "grew" naturally.. Like what the TS said... he benefited from not cutting too much weight...... we act like it's something new.... I guess former greats that successfully weight jumped could've done PEDs and should've had their blood drawn too (sarcastic comment).

I believe the notion that Manny is "faster" now at welterweight is a myth. On average, fighters at lower weight classes tend to have faster hands. If a fighter moving up is able to just maintain his handspeed, his hands might appear faster relative to the avg handspeed of fighters at a higher weight.

As for taking punches better at a higher weight, I'll admit I was surprised at how well Manny took some hard shots from Cotto. However, let's take Cotto for example. We've all seen him in really bad shape when he was fighting at 140. Chop Chop a known light puncher had him on ***** street. After moving up to 147, how many times have you seen Cotto in that condition? Sure he's been broken down, but he is taking punches much better now. Everyone attribtuted it to not having to boil down as much. The same could apply to Pacquiao. He probably is stronger, now that he's fighting north of 135, becuase he isn't suffering the weakening effects of draining down to make weight.

I think Richardson said it best.
THe greatest trick ROach ever pulled was making us believe Pac was a featherweight.
    Thats a smart man too.

coz floyd has doubt in himself and wants to preserve his "0" that badly that he would not fight someone who has a slight chance to beat him. floyd nuthuggers even said that floyd would easily school the little pacquiao. they could not see what floyd was pulling and hiding in statements like "pac must take the test" or "pac is on steroids, PEDs, EPO, HGH, etc."
