Regardless if you thought Froch won this very close fight, you would have to agre that Kessler was definitley not his "*****".

Hey I'll be the first to admit I ain't got nothing on Pimp C prediction wise. His knowledge of boxing is deep and I can even understand his prediction for the Kessler Froch fight as I was on the fence for this fight.

Predicting Kessler will loose is one thing, but not owning up to the fact he won and that he he was the one to beat the fight out of Froch is weak. Really weak...

this is simply part of fun though i suppose, when someone makes a bold prediction, if hes wrong hes going to get it in return on here  just the way it goes and what makes it all the more fun and interesting lol. I think the more humble the prediction, the more humble the backlash.... also depending on the credit given after the fight by the one who got the wrong prediction. But its all good man its part of the way things go lol....

but i would like to ask you why you think that Kessler beat the fight out of Froch, Froch was laying it on thick in the 12th round, and i actually think he was getting the better of Kessler in the 12th in spurts and might have even hurt him (the quality i was watching the fight on sucked so i apologize if im way off) so i dont think Froch had, or has had, the fight beat out of him at all.... just IMO.

Kessler went to the body with powershots early and this was part of his strategy. Notice how Froch has his arm down defending his right side after the second round. This took the sting out of Froch's offence.

About the 12 round Kessler's trainer told Kessler to go out there and go for the knock out. He told him he was behind on the cards (cheeky *******). Notice how neither fighter seems to be shaken after the fight. They where exhausted, but neither man was out on their feet as some people seem to think.

ya jepster, those body shots were brutal, i def saw Kessler hurt Froch to the body early, Kessler was laying some nice right hands to the body. But imo i dont think he beat the fight out of Froch, i think both guys were full of heart till the last second.

Anyways though, i didnt pick on this fight as there were too many things that could happen in my eyes although i realise Kessler should probably be the favorite and was... but im just glad that it seemed to be a good fight and congrats to all the Kessler fans and to kessler himself. You guys have a champ to be proud of and Froch fans i think can still hold their head up, he gave a good account of himself.

I dont have much bad to say about eather guy or the fight, ill probably rewatch it again tomorrow.

Anyways, congrats to both guys and their fans... :good I think Froch has all he can handle in AA in his next fight i think, and i hope Kessler can dispatch Green in style. I love this tourny.

How do you think they do in their next fights against AA and green?

I think that Froch has the potential to beat Abraham. His reach and his jab will definately be a huge problem for Abe, but again it is a matchup I would never bet on. As for Kessler and Green I have only seen youtube footage of Green so it's difficult to make a pick. After the Ward fight I will hopefully have an idea. I will say that from the limited footage I saw of Green I wasn't disappointed. He looke heavy handed, has fairly good technique and is an excellent finisher. A lot of people say that he's **** because he lost to Miranda, but he had extensive surgery just before the fight so he should have the benefit of the doubt here.

What's your take on the upcoming fights? Ward Green included.

Edit: Maybe not beat the fight out of him, but he took his wind away with those bodyshots. Froch would have won if Kessler hadn't gone to the body early. Good plan by Montoya.

My take? well... I totally agree with you on i think Froch has the tools and subtleties to def cause AA problems, but im not sure i can pick on that one, i will probably FAVOR Froch without making a prediction, because he will def get hit in this fight at some point and when AA does lower the boom on Froch i dont know if Froch will be standing when the dust clears... that fight is very intreaguing to me.

I think Ward vs Green will be a typical Ward performence, good footwork, ring generalship and landing more shots... i expect Green to put up an effort but get clearly beaten by wide UD.

Kessler vs Green i have closer, and Kessler better be careful, he seems slower and easier to hit to me then he used to be, i suppose that could be just my perception or him stepping up the comp, but if Green has one thing, its a punch, but i think Kessler is just all around the better boxer and fighter, ill take him in a UD.

Just IMO, we will see though eh? cant wait...

My take as well with the Kessler Green fight. And I can't wait for the Green Ward fight. Think it's gonna be good. The beauty of the super six is that all the fights are pretty darn close. I'm not betting on any of these fights and I'm not sticking my neck out to make bold predictions.

Congrats to Kessler he proved me wrong. I didn't think he was mentally tough enough to fight with Froch. It was a closely contested fight in which both men showed their will. Props to Kessler for getting back into this tourney and it's still wide open. This thread was a wind up intended to get under Kessler fans skin and have a few laughs nothing more so don't take it personal. I wish Kessler and his fans the best and you have the right to be proud of him coming up big when it mattered most.

I predicted 116-112 to Kessler...thought that was spot on.

Also won £50 on Kessler by Decision and some Vcash.
