Anchor baby: a child of central american descent, typically Mexican, used by the parents to later gain entry into the country after the child has matured. United States law deems that any child born on United States soil is considered a citizen, regardless of parental nationality. Anchor babies are born in the States by parents who illegally cross the border but, some years after deportation, are brought back in by that child so they may also gain citizenship.
Angulo would be a moron to take a fight with Martinez. does anyone think he could win? hes had less than 20 fights, he should be fighting Cintron again or Bundrage or Mundine (haha). and if he wins that fight, I would love to see Angulo-Kirkland in early 2011
must avenge cintron loss.. and this time angulo should easily win.By KO. otherwise i would love seen him against Lara.
dude you have it totally wrong as the child can not petition for their parents until they are 18 and once then it takes about 10 more years for the child's petition to be granted. Then they have to wait a few more years to be eligible for citizenship. btw Mexican's are not central American
For purposes of sectioning off the American continent, Mexico is pretty central but wikipedia is on your side. I stand corrected Anchor babies are typically associated with Mexico, but i wouldn't count out people from, say, Nicaragua doing the same thing. And I mentioned the children maturing and then bringing their parents in. I wasn't trying to be exact about it, just a general description.
I fight at 132 as an amateur.... but my useless credentials don't mean **** when we talking about pro boxers. If Angulo ducks TWO fights in a row cause he cant' win them then he is a *****. Simple! Andrey
you post that **** with a screen name "TRUE WARRIOR" he bitched out of that fight with martinez , "TRUE WARRIOR":rofl:rofl:tired:bart:dead
Woah, that's good news Freddy! So your sayin' HBO exaggerated the whole ordeal? Sorry about sounding ignorant about the situation, but Angulo has a visa that just expired? Pinche HBO, bola de culeros! :-(
yeah...he told me the same **** at the mall when i saw him last week....he is still here in the states worry-free
Why turn down a fight for a career high payday when it's high profile and everyone expects you to lose anyway? In those circumstances, there's nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Tell that to Jeff Lacey, he did not have the experience to fight Joe C. but he took the fight anyways thinking he was something he wasnt (yet) and it ended his career. Jeff Lacey was still improving but that bad decision ended his career. Angulo made a good decision no need to rush there are many apponents at his level that will make good fights. He will have a chance to make money in time.
