Just seen his fight with Dave Allen from last night on YouTube and tbh the BBBoC has no credibility for me given that it continues to licence Tom Dallas. When is enough finally enough?

For anyone who hasn't seen it, Dave Allen accidentally knocked out Dallas with a right hand - accidental because he was just trying to get some rounds in and admitted he didn't mean to knock him out. Wasn't even a hard shot, just a throw-away right to the head.

Stop licensing this joke of a boxer.

he's a poor fighter but maybe try having a little bit of respect, he would KO someone like you in 10 seconds.

Some fighters just seem to find it difficult to finally call it a day it would appear.

It is getting dangerous now for Dallas, this should surely be the end?

Apparantly Allen also said in his ifl intv that Dallas had agreed, that it was now time to hang em up.
I remember when he turned over.
At one point he was starting to make a name for himself, he was on a good k.o run, stopping most of his opponents until he was about 15 fights in.
Then he was himself stopped by Pricey and it seems hes never been able to rebuild with any consistancy since then.
And now hes getting stopped just as often as he was 'stopping them' in the early days.
His fight against Pricey was too early imo and decisions like the one he made there, can ruin careers.
Now whether that was down to bad managment or whether it was as simple as he needed the money (tv show) i dont know. Whatever it was, good luck to Tom Dallas. I do hope all the stoppages hes taken since Price have no bearing on his long term health.

Its a scandal hes had to retire off his own back as opposed to being retired from the bbboc. Watched the fight...hes pretty much a shot fighter by the looks of things. Timing way off. Chin not up to it. Shouldnt be allowed in the ring after being knocked out in something like 8 of his last 9 fights. Looking back on his career he didnt really have a good win. Was knocked out by anyone half decent mostly in the first round.

Not criticising the guy. Just more for his own good....that decision should have been taking out of his hands. Hope he does well in retirement. At least he can always say he had a go.

Tom is a local to me down in Medway. He's a good lad, and still very sharp in the gym. He never learned to handle or cope with pressure though and has always put too much on himself. Glad he's called it a day, theirs some good names on his record and he should be proud that he gave the pro game a good shot.I fear for Dave Allen, he's tough as nails and is unfortunate going to end up taking a few heavy beatings.

Glad he's finally deciding to throw the towel in. It was clear that he wasn't going to amount to anything after a 45 year old Skelton mauled him, and since he's just been served as fodder to prospects and contenders on the rebound. More recently he hasn't even been able to beat journeymen with losing records or area level domestic guys(Little avenged an earlier loss to him) When you're at that point it's a danger stepping in the ring no matter who it is.
