You are the exception that has proved to be the rule!".
WTF do you post here, on a classic forum ,where a large part of the threads are about evaluating and matching old time fighters against modern ones?
Just to post the same stupid comment every time? Do you think it is cute, funny, clever, provocative? Its none of these, it's just infantile and deadly boring

Lol actually most of Sharkeys career he weighed 170 or so like I typed. Also the last time I checked "Roids" Didn't make you grow to 6'6. These guys would be over 220 pounds and between 6'2 and 6'6 without juicing. Tom would be 170 pound fighter no matter what he did.

Also even if you were comparing Sharkey to modern 170 pound fighters he would still be destroyed. That primitive style from back in the day wouldn't work with more skilled modern fighters.

I think Anthony Joshau is on PED's. Wladimir did bulk up pretty quickly. He went from being a 220 pound skinny guy like Wilder to weighing 240 in a short time. Alexander Povetkin failed 2 different PED test I believe. Lucas Browne failed a PED test and he isn't ripped. Shannon Briggs just got caught. Luis Ortiz failed a few years back and again he wasn't overly muscular. Andrej Wawryzk was caught. Tyson Fury was caught and he isn't a muscle bound guy. Mariusz Wach failed the test after fighting Wladmir Klitschko.

But all of the guys I named were heavyweights to begin like I am sure you already know. Sharkey was a natural 160 to 170 pounder so you are right. He would be a super middleweight or light heavyweight by modern standards. Even a average heavyweight today would thrash him.

I like to post on this forum as I like watching old boxers fight and considering how they'd do against modern counterparts.

I don't post it every time, just whenever there's a thread featuring a boxer with no footage.

I don't think it's cute, funny, clever nor provocative. I also don't consider it boring nor infantile.

I merely post it as it reflects my thought process.
