Tomasz Adamek ill, fight with Glazkov in jeopardy.

Damn all of this over catching the flu?

**** happens hopefully he recovers in time. Adamek went into the first Briggs fight with a already broken nose and ended up in the WAR of his life. Hopefully the flu doesnt stop him.

 

I bet this has to do with that public workout they had Adamek do a few days ago with the Mayor and a LOT of grade school kids, coming close and touching Adamek. Not a good idea as kids are some of the most frequent carriers of the flu.

Tony Thompson said he turned it down too, because he would need more time than three days to prepare.

 

I don't know man, the flu can seriously hamper you. Most people tend to underestimate it because they often confuse it with the cold, which is much milder. If its a real flu, most people feel god damn awful for about 3-5 days, with various debilitating symptoms. I mean, would you want a fighter to go into a ring already being dizzy and weak? That's a recipe for disaster. Not saying that Adamek has the flu, but its a possibility.

 

Adamek would love to knock Wilder out on NBC, but Wilder will never fight a ranked fighter...........
