Not yet but if he unify belts and wins one or two fights (not even significant) at HW he will make it. There is no need for rematch with Dawson or Cunningham, time will tell how their carrier go, maybe someone just discover how cracked their chins are. Much better move will be to beat someone who was previously considered as the top dog (e.g. Mormeck or Haye).
Why bother and argue with guys who have there mind made up Andy??? According to these guys his only real test was Dawson..everyone else was a farce.Had he beat Dawson then they would tell you that he was too green. I can ask for a good fight. The Hungarian had a decent record but he was slow, VERY undersized and just plain bad. Wlodarczyk would have knocked him out. Kolodziej looked terribly slow and didn't have any idea for that fight at all. He needs to make incredible progress to even start dreaming about Adamek.

How do you consider Alexeev to be a gate for the HOF status .... since he is definitely not yet "hall of famer, or even an elite fighter" ... or is he?

Your not reading the post FFS, how dumb can you possibly be. He said that Alexeev NEEDS TO MAKE A NAME FOR HIMSELF FIRST. THen Adamek needs to beat him as well as make a consistent series of defences for an extended period of time, and that the cruiserweight division also needs to heat up for him to do this against legitimate threats. FFS, next time try reading the posts you are responding to, i feel like i'm arguing with children here.
Alexeev has all the skills to become an awesome fighter. Dynamite in both hands, power, decent, he can box and looks to have a good chin aswell.
