Results be they are fair or unjust according to opinion are handed down like this in all sports due to circumstances beyond the control of the organizers.

If the power blackout happened in the 11 and either boxer was clearly ahead would a NC be fair?

If it had have happened prior to round 4, would it have still gone to the cards or would it have been ruled a no-contest?

That is not the question here. But you would expect a NC as it would happen for an accidental cut....this is clear.

So you didn't answer my question.....it's the 11 round and Tomlinson is clearly ahead attempting to win the WT in Mexico and the lights go out....NC.....fair or not?

Wasn't there a power blackout during one of Vic Darchinyan's title fight in the US, where the fighters remained in there corners until the power came back (which was about half an hour) then resumed fighting. I think it may have been in Florida against Irene Pachenco (IBF title).

The power had only been out for a few minutes before a decision was made last night.

NC with and immeadiate remach is fair. The round the blackout occurs should not matter.

ANBF call for a no decision in that situation.

Corruption is a strong word, pehaps negligence (did I spell that correctly?)....whatever it was I did not agree with the outcome.

As I have previously stated. I do not always agree with TCboxa, but in this case he has a point.

Opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one........

There is no need for Phil Austin to come on here and explain the decision.

TC obviously knows the IBO ruling for this type of situation.

Please feel free to inform us Ty on exactly what should have occurred.
